Kansas City Chiefs safeties coach Donald D'Alesio is joining the Baltimore Ravens as their new defensive backs coach.
Link to storyBaltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry is expected to talk with the Ravens about a contract extension this offseason, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Footballguys view: Henry is coming off a phenomenal first season in Baltimore, having compiled 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on a career-high 5.9 yards per carry across 17 regular-season games. He added 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 19 catches. He became the first player in NFL history with multiple seasons of 1,900-plus rush yards. After Baltimore was eliminated from the postseason, GM Eric DeCosta and head coach John Harbaugh suggested an extension was possible. With or without an extension, Henry will be in the RB1 conversation when draft season rolls around. |

Baltimore Ravens OT Roger Rosengarten could move to left tackle next season if the team does not re-sign impending free-agent OT Ronnie Stanley this offseason, in the opinion of BaltimoreRavens.com's Ryan Mink.
Footballguys view: The Ravens went through some significant turnover on the offensive line last season and still had one of the elite NFL offense with multiple fantasy overachievers. Stanley played a full season for the first time in his career in 2024, so that may price him out of the Ravens plans. He only played 31 games in the four seasons between 2020-2023, so the Ravens offense is used to operating without him. |
Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken agreed to a contract extension, the team announced Monday, Feb. 3.
Footballguys view: Monken led the Ravens to their first-ever No. 1 ranking in offense and helped quarterback Lamar Jackson recorded career highs in passing yards (4,172) and touchdown passes (41) in 2024. In Monken's two years as playcaller, Baltimore has averaged the second-most yards (397.6) and the second-most points (29.4). From a fantasy perspective, the continuity is great; high-end production for the players involved is even better. |

Link to storyGeorgia Tech defensive coordinator Tyler Santucci is being hired by the Baltimore Ravens to be their new linebackers coach, according to a source.
Footballguys view: This will be Santucci's first job on an NFL coaching staff. He is a disciple of Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko, who previously turned around the Duke football program in his two years as head coach there. Mark DeLeone was the previous linebackers coach, but 2023 third round pick Trenton Simpson failed to develop as a starter, and the team decided to move on from DeLeone. |
Former Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano was hired as the senior secondary coach for the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Pagano previously served as the Ravens' secondary coach from 2008 to 2010 and the defensive coordinator in 2011.
Link to storyBaltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken is close to finalizing a contract extension Monday, Jan. 27.
Footballguys view: The new deal comes after Monken led the Ravens to their first-ever No. 1 ranking in offense and helped quarterback Lamar Jackson to his best statistical season. In Monken's two seasons, Baltimore has averaged the second-most yards (397.6) and the second-most points (29.4). Last season, the Ravens led the NFL with 424.9 yards per game, finishing No. 1 in total yards for the first time in the franchise's 29-year existence. Monken was hired to upgrade Baltimore's passing attack. This season, Lamar Jackson recorded career highs in passing yards (4,172) and touchdown passes (41). From a fantasy perspective, the continuity is great; high-end production for the players involved is even better. |
Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey was fined $45,020 by the National Football League for committing an act of unnecessary roughness in the Divisional Round playoff game versus the Buffalo Bills. Humphrey led with his helmet on a hit against QB Josh Allen but no flag was thrown on the play.

Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry recorded 909 rushing yards after contact this season, which led the league in that category. He also led the lead with 42 broken tackles during the season.
Footballguys view: To be fair, Henry, who racked up 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, was good in general. The 31-year-old 247-pounder also recorded two of the 20 fastest speeds on runs this season. He hit 21.72 mph on an 81-yard run against the Buccaneers in Week 7 and 21.46 mph on a 51-yard Week 5 run in Cincinnati. Henry finished the season as RB4 with 19.3 fantasy points per game. Expect to pay up in drafts this summer. |

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson completed 18 of his 25 passes for 254 yards, two touchdown and an interception in a 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round. Jackson also ran six times for 39 yards and a lost fumble, and RB Derrick Henry had 16 carries for 84 yards and a score. TE Isaiah Likely had four catches for a team-high 73 yards and a score, and WR Rashod Bateman had four catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. TE Mark Andrews finished with five receptions for 61 yards and lost a fumble.
Footballguys view: Playing without Zay Flowers (knee), the Ravens silenced the Buffalo crowd with a 16-yard score from Bateman on third down of Baltimore's opening drive. But Buffalo responded quickly on offense before their defense came on strong. The Bills forced three turnovers on the night, including two on Jackson and one crucial fumble from Andrews -- his first since 2019 -- in the fourth quarter. Andrews had a chance at redemption on the Ravens' final drive on a two-point conversion that could have tied the game, but he juggled and dropped the ball in the end zone. Scrutiny of Jackson's playoff performances will only increase as he fell to 3-5 in the postseason. Baltimore fell to 5-8 in the divisional round, including 1-4 in its last five. |

Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) is not expected to play in the Divisional Round playoff game but may be available for the AFC Championship game if the Ravens advance.
Footballguys view: Flowers is likely to miss Sunday's game against the Bills. However, the explosive receiver could return if the Ravens make the AFC Championship Game. His absence creates more opportunities for pass catchers like Rashod Bateman, Mark Andrews, and Isaiah Likely. |

Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) 'has a chance' to suit up in the team's Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Jan. 19, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Link to storyZay Flowers player page
Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) appears unlikely to play against the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round of the playoffs Sunday, Jan. 19.
Footballguys view: The Ravens will have to lean on Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, and Tylan Wallace at wide receiver with a blast from the past - Anthony Miller - also getting some snaps. Mark Andrews will be tangling with Matt Milano, who usually gives him and other top tight ends trouble in coverage, so Isaiah Likely could be a big contributor on Sunday. |

Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 16. WR Deonte Harty (knee) fully participated in practice.
Footballguys view: At this point, we shouldn't expect to see Flowers on Sunday. The Ravens will lean more on Rashod Bateman and Isaiah Likely to pick up the slack in the passing game with Mark Andrews usually shut down by Matt Milano when these two teams face off. |

Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Jan. 15.
Footballguys view: Flowers was unable to play in the Wild Card Round, so all eyes will be on his status for the Divisional Round. The Ravens finish out this round on Sunday with a road game against the Bills. Ravens HC John Harbaugh said the team is in â€"we'll see mode†with Flowers. Stay tuned. |

Former Houston Texans WR Diontae Johnson was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Ravens Wednesday, Jan. 15. The transaction will not become official until after Super Bowl LIX.
Footballguys view: This is merely a procedural move for the Ravens. Johnson would not be able to join the team until after the Super Bowl, but he is set to be an unrestricted free agent. If/when he signs with another team, Johnson will count toward the team's compensatory pick formula. |

Updating an ongoing story, Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) is in 'we'll see mode' ahead of the Divisional Round at the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Jan. 19, according to head coach John Harbaugh, adding the team will see if Flowers is practicing later in the week before making a decision.
Footballguys view: That doesn't sound too optimistic. Not having Flowers would be a blow, but not one that the Ravens offense is ill-equipped to overcome. The Bills do have tight end stopper Matt Milano back, but he can't cover Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely at the same time, and Rashod Bateman has been making impact plays downfield all season. We'll be monitoring this situation all week. |

Baltimore Ravens RB Justice Hill (concussion, illness) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 9, and is not on the injury report for the Wild Card playoff game.
Footballguys view: Hill should be about ready to play against the Steelers. Derrick Henry will handle most of the work from the backfield. Hill can work as a change-of-pace back behind Henry. |

Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for the Wild Card Round against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Footballguys view: No surprise here. Flowers suffered the knee injury in Week 18, but he's not going to be ready to play against the Steelers. Without Flowers, the Ravens will turn to guys like Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, and Rashod Bateman more. |
