Dynasty Football Big Board Week 11

The appeal of playing dynasty fantasy football is that you never stop building your rosters. There is always time to make moves to help build a contender or rebuild your struggling roster. Now that the 2023 class has come and gone, it's time to start looking ahead to the 2024 class. This season, we will provide fantasy managers with a top-36 big board that will be updated weekly to reflect the top 36 draft-eligible players in college football. The hope is that this big board will give you actual names and value to any draft picks you are trying to trade or acquire. I will also add dynasty content to this article, including players to pivot to or away from, dynasty stashes, dynasty trades, and much more. This week, I will also ask for rosters to analyze and send feedback to our Footballguys subscribers!

Standout Performances

QB Jalen Milroe (RS So - Alabama): 6-foot-2, 220 lbs

Milroe has been playing like a Heisman candidate for the past two months, and he had an outstanding performance against Kentucky this last weekend. He had six touchdowns in total (three passing, three rushing), which was a career-high. Last week against LSU, he rushed for four touchdowns, showcasing his full playmaking ability. Milroe has led Alabama to eight consecutive wins and its third straight conference championship in four seasons. If he goes into the SEC title game against Georgia and beats the Bulldogs, he could be a frontrunner for the Heisman trophy. As far as a draft prospect, he will likely be back in Tuscaloosa next season but should be a top-5 quarterback in a wide-open 2025 class. His athleticism and potential should excite dynasty managers.

WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (Jr - Ohio State): 6-foot-4, 205 lbs

Harrison has been undoubtedly one of the best players in college football this season, and if he can have a great game against Michigan in the next two weeks, he could hear his name called in New York at the Heisman ceremony. Against Michigan State, Harrison finished with seven catches for 149 yards, along with two receiving touchdowns and one on the ground. He has 1,063 receiving yards on the season, making him the first Buckeye to have two 1,000-yard seasons in their career. He is an elite football player and should be a top-5 selection in next year's NFL draft. There should also be an argument for him to be the 1.01 in all formats heading into dynasty rookie drafts next off-season. He should come into the NFL as a top-5 dynasty asset at the wide receiver position.

WR Brian Thomas Jr. (Jr - LSU) 6-foot-4, 205 lbs

Thomas has been one of the biggest risers in the 2024 wide receiver class. He continued his dominant 2023 season with six catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns against the Florida Gators this weekend. He has been unstoppable on vertical routes this season and has become one of the best deep threats in college football. He also has deceptive speed, and his footwork has improved all season. He could be one of the complete wide receivers in the class. If he tests well at the NFL combine, he could be a first-round pick next April. He has been that good, and we could see an NFL team fall in love with his profile.

2024 Draft Pick Values

With the NFL season starting, dynasty leagues are increasingly active, which means more trades are undoubtedly occurring. The whole point of this big board each week is to help you identify where the talent in the current class is and start identifying target areas and tiers to trade for. It's also important to understand market values and what 2024 picks cost in the dynasty market. Below, you will find players currently being moved for 2024 1sts and 2024 2nds.

Dynasty Pivots

Buy - Kendre Miller (KTC Value - RB35) Age: 21.4

Normally, I avoid buying backup running backs in dynasty. However, Miller is one of those dynasty targets that contenders and rebuilders (who are aiming for next year to compete) should be targeting in their leagues. Miller has looked explosive at times this season but suffered an ankle sprain in week nine against the Bears. If not serious, we could see his value rise the rest of the season. The Saints have a favorable schedule for running backs down the stretch of the season. Jamaal Williams has been essentially non-existent in this offense, and Alvin Kamara is twenty-eight years old and is a much better receiver than a pure rusher. Miller could carry the load when he returns from his ankle sprain, and contenders this season could benefit. In the long term, he looks like the future starter on this roster, even if Kamara returns in 2024. At RB35, it's hard to imagine any scenario where his value doesn't increase this off-season, which gives you plenty of options if you are willing to acquire him now.

Buy - 2025 1sts

Now is the time to acquire 2025 1sts in your leagues. They are the cheapest they will ever be and will only accumulate value over the next year. Dynasty managers who find themselves as a middling team will be hesitant to send off their 2024 1sts because they think whatever piece they can add in their rookie drafts can put them over the top next year. But they are more than willing to send off a first two years from now to try to win. Use this to your advantage. Start diving into the middle-of-the-pack teams and see if you can find a trade partner to grab their 2025 1sts. Those middle-of-the-pack teams are usually just a couple of injuries away from bottoming out, and with luck, you could be adding a top-5 2025 pick for its floor price.

Buy - Bryce Young (KTC Value - QB14) Age: 22.3

Young has not lived up to expectations after being drafted first overall by the Carolina Panthers. He threw three touchdowns in Week 5 but has struggled in his past two games with one touchdown and three interceptions and has failed to make the right plays consistently. However, part of the issue for Young has been his offensive line and lack of weapons on the outside. The Panthers' inability to provide him with receivers who can create separation and an offensive line that can protect him has hindered his development this season. I expect the Panthers to be big buyers in free agency this coming off-season and will need to find him a true WR1. They may also move on from their current coaching staff, including head coach Frank Reich. Even if they don't move on from Reich, I am not willing to give up on a talent like Young, and I think he's worth testing the market on, especially if you have a rebuilding roster. He is currently being valued way below his ceiling potential.
