Travis Etienne Jr.

Liam Coen gave Etienne a vote of confidence this spring, telling media that all the bad things he heard about Etienne don't fit with what he's seen from the running back. Etienne has promise in Coen's wide-zone scheme, but he won't see the volume of receptions in this offense that he had in other systems. 

There's also a strong chance that Coen opts for a committee of backs that include rookies Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen -- and that's if Tank Bigsby isn't still hanging around by late August. 

Jacksonville's offensive line is a work in progress, too. If enough of these "ifs" work out in Etienne's favor, he can deliver top-24 fantasy production at his position. It might be best to play the waiting game until there's greater clarity. 

He did not have a good year in 2024, but he had produced six consecutive productive seasons in the NFL and college when he was healthy before that. Expect Liam Coen to at least utilize him as a pass catcher out of the backfield. Etienne has posted reception totals of 35, 58, and 39 over the past three seasons. Still, he's a shaky bet and not one I'm willing to make at his consensus draft cost.
