The appeal of playing dynasty fantasy football is that you never stop building your rosters. There is always time to make moves to help build a contender or rebuild your struggling roster. Now that the 2023 class has come and gone, it's time to start looking ahead to the 2024 class. This season, we will provide fantasy managers with a top-36 big board that will be updated weekly to reflect the top 36 draft-eligible players in college football. The hope is that this big board will give you actual names and value to any draft picks you are trying to trade or acquire. I will also add dynasty content to this article, including players to pivot to or away from, dynasty stashes, dynasty trades, and much more.
Standout Performances
RB Carson Steele (Jr - UCLA) 6-foot-1, 225 lbs
There are many question marks surrounding the 2024 running back class. For that reason, they have dropped out of my top 12 completely on the big board due to the uncertainty. Unlike last year, where we had two talented backs in Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson, there aren't any surefire prospects in this class that have lived up to expectations. The ultimate question for all of these backs will be draft capital and landing spots. However, there are a ton of depth running backs who could be fantasy-relevant next season, including UCLA running back Carson Steele.
Steele transferred to UCLA from Ball State, where he was one of the best players in the conference. As a freshman, he rushed for 891 yards and six touchdowns, and as a sophomore, Steele lit up the MAC with 1,556 yards rushing to go along with fourteen touchdowns. While there were concerns about the competition level going from the MAC Conference to the Pac-12, Steele has proven those doubters wrong through the season's first seven games. He has rushed for 599 yards and six touchdowns on just 113 carries this season. He has also been involved in the passing game, adding nine catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. He's shown to be a workhorse-style back and could fit multiple systems at the next level. He's a player to watch the rest of the season.
Two drives, two rushing scores for Carson Steele!

Dynasty Pivots
Sell - Tony Pollard (KTC Value - RB10) Age: 26.5
Pollard is one of those tweener dynasty assets for both contenders and rebuilding teams. As a contender, Pollard is a player who should receive the type of volume you need down the stretch of the season, and you are probably comfortable riding him till the end of the season. However, there are deals to be made where you could find equal production with assets added. That could be the right move if you are a contender looking to build your roster continually. Conversely, if you are a mediocre team that is fourth or fifth in your league in points scored, moving Pollard is the right move. There is so much uncertainty with him after the season. He could be playing for another team, and his accumulated injuries look to be piling up. He has yet to excel in the redzone and looks limited outside of PPR leagues.
Recent Trades:
- Tony Pollard for Isiah Pacheco/2024 2nd/2025 2nd
- Tony Pollard for 2024 1st/2025 2nd
- Tony Pollard/Tyler Lockett for Cooper Kupp
- Sam Howell/Tony Pollard/2025 3rd for Jaylen Waddle
- Tony Pollard/Tank Dell/2024 2nd for Amon-Ra St. Brown
Sell - Austin Ekeler (KTC Value - RB11) Age: 28.4
Ekeler is a challenging dynasty asset to hold and is one of the most league-dependent assets in the format. Some managers in your league may look at Ekeler's receiving ability and see him as a player who can hold value because of that particular skill. We've noticed that with players like Alvin Kamara and, to a lesser extent, Kareem Hunt. The problem with that line of thinking is that we've seen his receiving work dip this season in Kellen Moore's offense, albeit with a small sample size. There's also the chance that this coaching staff will be gone after this season, which could open the door for Ekeler to have a prolonged shelf life as a dynasty asset. The issue is there is too much uncertainty for me to be confident in Ekeler moving forward. However, plenty of managers would want to ride him out for the remainder of the season to try to win their leagues, which opens a sell window this season and could be the last window we see with significant returns.
Recent Trades:
- Austin Ekeler for Jaxon Smith-Njigba/2024 2nd
- Austin Ekeler for 2024 1st/2024 2nd
- Austin Ekeler for DeVonta Smith
- Austin Ekeler for Jonathan Taylor/2024 2nd
- Austin Ekeler/Cooper Kupp for Amon-Ra St. Brown/2024 2nd
Sell - Stefon Diggs (KTC Value - WR10) Age: 29.9
When looking at dynasty assets, the one word that makes me nervous is uncertainty, and Diggs has a ton of uncertainty surrounding him in dynasty. The Bills' offense has been a mess this season; even though Diggs has consistently performed as a top-12 wide receiver, there is a chance that he's not on this roster next season. If that happens, he loses the insulation that Josh Allen provides his dynasty value. The most common example we can give for Diggs is Keenan Allen. Allen has proven a reliable asset even as he has aged, but part of that success can be attributed to Justin Herbert. If Diggs loses that elite quarterback, the decline could be significant. Diggs is still a win-now piece this season; however, now is the time to unload at peak value, and if you are on the fringe as a dynasty team, shipping him off looks like the right decision.
Recent Trades:
- Stefon Diggs for 2025 1st/2024 2nd/2025 2nd
- Stefon Diggs for Calvin Ridley/2024 1st
- Stefon Diggs for Dalton Kincaid/2024 1st/2024 3rd
- Stefon Diggs/Jordan Addison for Justin Jefferson/James Conner
