Footballguys Staff's Cincinnati, Team Vibes and Players to Target and Avoid Footballguys Staff Published 07/25/2023

As we race toward August, Footballguys.com will look at one team per day with our quick-hitting Team Vibes and Players to Target and Avoid, where we check out the overall mood of each team's offense and let you know the players we are in on (because they are great values at the cost it takes to acquire them) and who we're out on (because they are too expensive and won't give you a good return on that investment).

Staffers with Good Vibes

  • Chad Parsons: Betting on offenses led by elite quarterbacks is an easy venture. Joe Mixon sticking with the team is a confidence boost.
  • Ben Cummins: Joe Burrow, the second-best quarterback in the NFL, leads the offense.
  • Jeff Tefertiller: Elite quarterback with elite weapons. There is nothing to dislike.
  • Jason Wood: They're one of the few legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
  • Jeff Haseley: They are one of the better teams in the heavily crowded AFC. They have weapons at all of the major positions and have shown they can win big games. Their time is coming.
  • Phil Alexander: Joe Burrow might be the second-best quarterback in the NFL, and Cincinnati's three-wide-receiver set remains one of the league's best as well.
  • Jeff Bell: An offense to target heavily.
  • Dave Kluge: Explosive offense, elite quarterback, dynamic receivers. Not much to worry about offensively.
  • Christian Williams: Continuity is key for perennial Super Bowl contenders, and this offense returns all but Samaje Perine.
  • Daniel Harms: Joe Burrow, Ja’Maar Chase, and Tee Higgins are still in town. Good vibes all around.
  • Nick Whalen: The Bengals upgraded their offensive line to keep that talented offense cruising for the 2023 season.
  • Andy Hicks: Nothing has altered to warrant any change to one of the best offenses in the league.
  • Ryan Weisse: The offense is great at just about every level.
  • Craig Lakins: The Bengals have all you could ask for with an offensive-minded head coach and an elite quarterback surrounded by elite weapons.
