As we race toward August, Footballguys.com will look at one team per day with our quick-hitting Team Vibes and Players to Target and Avoid, where we check out the overall mood of each team's offense and let you know the players we are in on (because they are great values at the cost it takes to acquire them) and who we're out on (because they are too expensive and won't give you a good return on that investment).

Packers, Team Vibes
- Good - 1
- Neutral - 8
- Bad - 5
Staffers with Good Vibes
- Andy Hicks: Despite losing Aaron Rodgers, the team invests heavily in youth on offense through the draft. Finally.
Staffers with Neutral Vibes
- Jason Wood: Swapping Aaron Rodgers for Jordan Love could be disastrous, but the organization exudes confidence, and all else remains intact from an NFC contender.
- Hutchinson Brown: Swapping Aaron Rodgers for Jordan Love is definitely a downgrade, but there are some offensive skill players that could take a step forward this year.
- Chad Parsons: Aaron Rodgers, in a bad year (for him), is probably not far off from Jordan Love starting after being groomed for years.
- Jeff Tefertiller: Aaron Rodgers was bad last year, so Jordan Love has a great chance to take a step forward in his development.
- Phil Alexander: I'm hopeful Jordan Love can be a pleasant surprise, at least for fantasy football purposes.
- Ben Cummins: Matt LaFleur provides stable leadership, but Jordan Love is a massive wild card.
- Dan Hindery: There is talent here but an incredible lack of experience, which will make growing pains inevitable.
- Ryan Weisse: It might take Jordan Love a little time, but it's not like Aaron Rodgers set the world on fire last year. They are still a good offensive team.
Staffers with Bad Vibes
- Jeff Bell: The offense loses Aaron Rodgers, who fell hard from MVP level after losing Davante Adams the previous year.
- Jeff Haseley: Bad because I see them trending down rather than up. Losing Aaron Rodgers is big, and the other teams in the NFC North are all improving.
- Dave Kluge: For the first time in three decades, the Packers won't start the season with a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
- Sam Wagman: Jordan Love could be good. But it's impossible to ignore the possibility that he just isn't that good, and Aaron Rodgers is gone.
- Nick Whalen: Green Bay is not only losing Aaron Rodgers but 5 other starters from a cash-strapped team who will be very young.
