NO @ LAR
- Derek Carr had another strong game, aided by Chris Olave's return. The Saints offense is going through Carr right now, so he's a viable streamer against the Bucs and a strong QB2/Superflex option.
- Juwan Johnson and Rashid Shaheed both caught scores in the loss. They are good what-the-heck options at tight end and WR3/Flex, respectively, in Week 17 because of the matchup and momentum.
- Puka Nacua is surging and should be on a lot of championship teams. He's the better DFS play over Cooper Kupp against the Giants this week.
- Demarcus Robinson was still the #3 receiver even though Tutu Atwell was back from his concussion, and Robinson had his best game of the season and fourth straight game with a score. He's a what-the-heck flex for Week 17.
CIN @ PIT
- Jake Browning threw three picks but over 300 yards and a score, so he's still in QB2/Superflex consideration in a tough matchup against the Chiefs, even if Ja'Marr Chase isn't ready to return.
- Tee Higgins had an 80-yard score and is shaping up as a must-play in Week 17 despite the matchup.
- Joe Mixon was quiet in the lopsided loss and carries more risk as an RB2/Flex option, but should probably be in Week 17 lineups.
- Mason Rudolph was more aggressive throwing downfield as the starting quarterback, and he was able to hook up with George Pickens for two long scores and another sideline bomb. Pickens is a must-play for Week 17, while Rudolph is in QB2/Superflex consideration against Seattle. Diontae Johnson didn't fare as well and is more desperation play than WR3/Flex option for Week 17.
- Najee Harris ran with conviction and scored, putting him back in RB2/Flex consideration after a second-half slump. Jaylen Warren is a mere what-the-heck flex for Week 17.
BUF @ LAC
- The Bills passing game was quiet, save for a few shots to Gabriel Davis. Davis is at least a what-the-heck flex for Week 17 against the Patriots, while Stefon Diggs hasn't been much of a fantasy factor for over a month. It's not crazy to bench him for an option that has been consistently outsourcing him.
- James Cook got the work in the running game, but curiously, not the passing game. He's still an RB2 option at worst for Week 17 against New England.
- Austin Ekeler was better than in Week 15 but still not good enough to make you fear leaving him on the bench against the Broncos in Week 17. He had 100 total yards and a score against the Broncos in Week 14, so starting Ekeler isn't necessarily the wrong move either.
- Easton Stick was good enough to keep Joshua Palmer and Gerald Everett in consideration as what-the-heck plays in Week 17 and himself as a desperation QB2/Superflex.
WAS @ NYJ
- Sam Howell was bad enough to get benched...again. Jacoby Brissett revitalized the offense...again. If Brissett is announced as the starter against the 49ers, there's a little more hope for options like Terry McLaurin, Logan Thomas, and Curtis Samuel.
- Chris Rodriguez scored twice but emerged with an ankle injury. Antonio Gibson will be a what-the-heck flex for Week 17 if Rodriguez and Brian Robinson are both out.
- The porous Washington pass defense allowed Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson to post good results as receivers, and the poor offense set up scoring opportunities that Hall converted. Hall was a golden ticket to the finals but faces a much tougher matchup in Week 17 at Cleveland.
DET @ MIN
- Jared Goff wasn't a huge fantasy play but avoided the big mistake. Three of the Lions' scores coming on the ground hurt his bottom line, but Goff is still a high-ceiling QB1 against the Cowboys.
- Jahmyr Gibbs is converting goal line carries and the fantasy RB1 in this backfield, while David Montgomery is the RB2. Both should be in lineups against the Cowboys defense that Buffalo ran all over two weeks ago.
- Jameson Williams set a season high in catches and should be considered a big play upside what-the-heck flex against Dallas's gambling defense.
- Nick Mullens took a lot of chances, resulting in over 400 passing yards and four interceptions. It's possible that Jaren Hall will start Week 17. Mullens would be better for Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn and a better QB2/Superflex option against the Packers.
- Ty Chandler scored early, and then the Vikings abandoned the run. Alexander Mattison is getting healthy, and Chandler is a mere what-the-heck flex for Week 17.
- T.J. Hockenson went down with a knee injury and will likely miss at least Week 17. Jordan Addison left with an ankle injury but has a chance to play in Week 17. K.J. Osborn is a waiver pickup whether Addison plays or not. Addison's ability to play will affect the Vikings quarterback as a QB2/Superflex option.
CLE @ HOU
- Joe Flacco was merciless attacking the Texans' corners downfield, and Amari Cooper set a franchise record for receiving yards in a game, breaking Josh Gordon's mark. Flacco is a solid QB2/Superflex option in a tough matchup with the Jets on Thursday.
- David Njoku scored again, his fourth in the last three weeks. He'll surely be in a lot of championship lineups.
- Case Keenum turned back into a pumpkin against a very good defense. Davis Mills got Nico Collins a touchdown in garbage time. C.J. Stroud has a chance to be back in Week 17 against Tennessee, making Collins a solid WR2 option, Noah Brown a WR3/Flex, Dalton Schultz a TE1, and Devin Singletary a strong RB2.
