These are my notes from Week 8.
Arizona Cardinals
- Isaiah Simmons keeps making plays 5-0-1 FF
- J.J. Watt 2-0-2 with his first multi-sack game since??
Atlanta Falcons
- All is well with Mykal Walker 8-3
- Troy Andersen not a factor 0-1
Baltimore Ravens
- Geno Stone very consistent with at least six solo strops in all three starts. Patric Queen 2-0, not so much.
- Justin Houston is not playing full time but has a sack in all four games he has played with a pair in each of the last two and a total of 8-2-6 and a FF on the season.
- Marlon Humphrey hamstring
Buffalo Bills
- Tremaine Edmunds 13-3 PD
- Jordan Poyer left with an elbow issue
Carolina Panthers
- Frankie Luvu managed a sack, but his tackle totals were lower than usual at 4-1-1. Was he sharing time again? Shaq Thompson 8-5
Chicago Bears
- Quiet day for Roquan Smith 4-1 and Nicholas Morrow 5-0
- The safeties were busy though Jaquan Brisker 7-2-1, Eddie Jackson 7-4 int
Cincinnati Bengals
- Play Monday night
Cleveland Browns
- Play Monday night
Dallas Cowboys
- The snap count shift among the safeties may have been due to Malik Hooker tweaking his hamstring. He was not practicing leading up to Week 8.
- Anthony Barr hamstring. Replaced by Damone Clark 2-5?
- Micah Parsons knicked? Not on the field in the third quarter
- Donovan Wilson dinged but returned.
- Dorance Armstrong 0-1, Donte Fowler 5-0-1 PD. Anything to see here?
Denver Broncos
- Alex Singleton 3-1 seeing snaps. Jonas Griffith 1-3 hurt? role/count. Josey Jewell 7-2
Detroit Lions
- DeShon Ellis inactive, Will Harris 6-0, JuJu Hughes 5-1-1, Kerby Joseph 5-1 FF
- No pass rush from the front four.
Green Bay Packers
- Quay Walker ejected. DaVondre Campbell knee or shin injury at the end of the second quarter. Eric Wilson 3-1-1 and Isaiah McDuffie 3-1 finished the game.
- Rasul Douglas 6-0-1 int.
Houston Texans
- Christian Harris 5-2, was his role bigger? Texans are using a lot of linebackers
- Jonathan Owens 1-1 hurt? M.J. Stewart 4-1, Eric Murray 6-1, Jalen Pitre 5-1
Indianapolis Colts
- Shaquille Leonard 3-1 int, back on the field. Snap breakdown Bobby Okereke 4-4. Zaire Franklin 6-2 PD

- Grover Stewart 6-1 makes it 2 in a row. Can he go three?

- Leonard Williams banged up again but still 5-3-1
- Micah McFadden 3-0-1 in the first half. Who is Tomon Fox? 6-2
- Xavier McKinney got a sack but was 2-1 in the tackle columns.
New York Jets
- The snaps Quincy Williams missed in Week 7, might have been due to his sore ankle. He was limited in practice last week. Williams 4-3, Kwon Alexander 4-2, snaps
- Michael Carter 7-0 int. where did that come from?
- Six players (all defensive linemen) record sacks.
Philadelphia Eagles
- T.J. Edwards is back 9-4 2PD
- Chauncey Gardner Johnson hitting his stride 7-1-1 int. Makes him 20-2 1 with 4 picks over the last three games.
- Jordan Davis ankle
- Robert Quinn with limited role in his first game with the team.
Pittsburgh Steelers
- Devin Bush 0-2, Myles Jack 2-2, Robert Spillane 3-1
Seattle Seahawks
- Jordyn Brooks quiet 5-0, Cody Barton 4-2-1 PD.
