The Guru's Notepad IDP Info, Notes from Week 7

As I watch games from Thursday through Monday Night Football, I take notes on the things that catch my eye. From injuries to unexpected box score production both good and bad, to scheme quirks and situations that could affect a player's production in weeks to come. By Wednesday evening, I turn these notes and the subsequent news and investigation into the Eyes of the Guru column.

On Monday mornings, I will be sharing those raw notes. There will not be a lot of analysis or in-depth description. Those things take time and will come later in the week. The goal is to give our customers an early heads up on things that could impact your important decisions for the week, so if something in the notes is particularly important to your team, you can look into it on your own and/or wait until the EOTG comes out that week to get my take.

Arizona Cardinals

• No stats for K'Von Wallace but Andre Chachere was 6-0

Atlanta Falcons

• Kaden Elliss 5-1, Nate Landman 5-7 FF

Baltimore Ravens

• Odafe Oweh returned 2-0-1 FF Jadeveon Clowney 1-0, Kyle Van Noy 2-3-2 making a nice contribution as an edge defender. Snaps

Buffalo Bills

• Tyrel Dodson 5-2 after replacing Dorian Williams 3-2 again
• Jordan Poyer finally had a good game 6-4-1 FF

• Jaquan Brisker with his best game of the season, right on time 9-1 PD

• How does a team get whooped that bad, and the defense is only credited with 34 tackles and 17 assists?
• Charles Harris Health scratch
• Jerry Jacobs knee inactive
• Kerby Joseph went off 9-1, Tracy Walker III was ok at 5-2, and Aiden Hutchinson was 2-2 FR. No other Lions defender has more than seven points.

Green Bay Packers

• Darnell Savage down in the first half with a calf
• Eric Stokes hammy
• Devonte Wyatt knee

Houston Texans

• Bye week.

Indianapolis Colts

• JuJu Brents quadriceps, Darrell Baker Jr replaced him?

Jacksonville Jaguars

• Dawuane Smoot with a strong outing
• Andre Cisco down but not until late in the third. Hamstring?

Kansas City Chiefs

• Nick Bolton Looked bad. Possibly a broken wrist/arm. May see Tranquill in the middle the rest of the way

Los Angeles Rams

• Michael Hoecht with a big game. Got to the QB for the first time this year 3-2-2 FF

Miami Dolphins

• It was Jerome Baker's turn to have a big game 6-5 pick-six.
• David Long Jr likely in concussion protocol after friendly fire incident.
• Bradley Chubb is on fire 5-2-2 FF, 14-6-3 2 FF over last three games

Minnesota Vikings

• Anfernee Jennings 5-1 arm/hand
• Jabrill Peppers quietly having a solid season 4-5 int, DD points in 5 of 7 games

New Orleans Saints

• Nothing of note.

New York Giants

• Matchups are important. The Giants had five sacks on the season entering week seven and six against the Commanders.
