Quarterback
Jaren Hall, Minnesota (vs Green Bay)
Hall will start against a Green Bay defense that just allowed Bryce Young's first 300-yard game. He'll be without T.J. Hockenson, and Jordan Addison will either be limited or inactive. But Hall didn't have Justin Jefferson in his first start, and on his one good drive before getting hurt trying to score on a scramble, his long completions were to Johnny Mundt and Alexander Mattison. Hall is at least functional as a runner, and this offense has been productive with two other backups, so Hall is a solid QB2/Superflex option in what could be a high-scoring game.
Jarrett Stidham, Denver (vs LA Chargers)
Stidham had a huge Week 17 last year when the Raiders decided to move on from Derek Carr. Can history repeat itself? Sean Payton will probably be trying to show how Russell Wilson held the pass offense back, so there's a chance that the Broncos offense flips to a pass-heavy approach this week. Stidham is a boom/bust QB2/Superflex option against a Chargers team that looked like they gave up two weeks ago before giving the Bills a scare last week.
Tyrod Taylor, NY Giants (vs LA Rams)
Taylor was a good fantasy play in one of his two starts that he finished. It came against Washington, so maybe we shouldn't read too much into it, but his other start was a 14-9 loss to Buffalo that didn't ask the offense to press the issue in the passing game. The Rams have allowed three passing scores in each of the last three games, and the two quarterbacks they faced before that each accounted for two scores. Taylor has some 2QB/Superflex value in addition to boosting the whole offense.
Tight End
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans (at Tampa Bay)
Johnson should be available if you are looking for a Cole Kmet/T.J. Hockenson replacement. He has at least 38 receiving yards and a score in each of the last two weeks, and he's facing a Bucs defense that has allowed 10-95, 4-57-1, and 9-99-1 to opposing tight ends over the last three games.
Durham Smythe, Miami (at Baltimore)
Smythe saw his role grow in the passing game when Jaylen Waddle went out last week. Waddle is expected to miss this week, and Tua Tagovailoa can't throw all of the passes to Tyreek Hill. Against the Ravens, he should consider targeting Smythe more. They gave up 7-126 to George Kittle last week, 5-56 to Jaguars tight ends the week before that, 4-50-1, 4-43-1, 6-68, and 8-69 to opposing tight ends in the four prior weeks.
Logan Thomas, Washington (vs San Francisco)
Thomas caught a big touchdown from Jacoby Brissett late in the loss to the Jets last week, and he should be a frequent target as a safe middle-of-the-field option against a 49ers defense that makes throwing downfield difficult. Cardinals tight ends posted 15-172-1 against the 49ers in Week 15 and Seahawks tight ends posted a combined 5-66-1 in Week 14.
Josh Oliver, Minnesota (vs Green Bay)
Oliver will take the place of T.J. Hockenson, who was a featured player in the Vikings pass offense. The Packers should do everything they can to force rookie Jaren Hall to throw to someone other than Jefferson, and that could often be Oliver. Oliver has already posted a 4-47-1 line as a part-time player, and the Packers just allowed 7-80 to the Panthers' alliterative duo of Stephen Sullivan and Tommy Tremble.
