The Jaguars have very little to play for as their Week 18 game against the Titans will decide the AFC South but head coach Doug Pederson said the starters will play. If so, Trevor Lawrence priced at just $6,200 is a strong play against a Texans defense that ranks 27th in EPA/Play Allowed, 22nd in Dropback EPA Allowed, and 28th in Success Rate. Lawrence has been awesome this season. He ranks 13th in passing yards per game (249.9) and ninth in pass touchdowns per game (1.6) and leads a Jaguars offense that ranks 13th in Expected Points Added per Play (EPA/Play), eighth in Success Rate, tenth in Pass Rate Over Expected (PROE), and 13th in Early Down Pass Frequency (EDPF).
Brock Purdy is averaging two touchdowns per game, which ranks fourth best in the league, and leads a 49ers offense that ranks fifth in EPA/Play and sixth in Success Rate. Purdy is priced at just $5,500 and gets to attack a vulnerable Raiders defense that only ranks 24th in EPA/Play Allowed, 30th in Dropback EPA Allowed, and 27th in Success Rate.
Mike White has been cleared to return in Week 17, which is a breath of fresh air for the Jets offense. White leads the league in passing yards per game (317.3) and has a favorable matchup against a bad Seahawks defense that only ranks 28th in EPA/Play Allowed and 24th in Dropback EPA Allowed. White is priced at just $5,400.
The Chiefs are fighting for the #1 seed in the AFC and will be highly motivated at home against a Broncos defense that gave up last week, getting dominated by Baker Mayfield of all quarterbacks. Patrick Mahomes II is in a great position to ball out once again. He ranks second in passing yards per game (314.7) and first in pass touchdowns per game (2.5) and leads a Chiefs offense that ranks first in EPA/Play, first in Success Rate, first in PROE, and first in EDPF.
