Very few people truly care about kicker rankings. Once you become a fantasy football veteran, you generally spend about 10 seconds wondering which kicker you'll pick in the last round of your draft. The biggest worry you have about selecting a kicker is not messing it up.

Well, let's make it easier to not mess it up.

To get us going, we'll look at three sources:

• FFPC Best-Ball ADP - In best-ball leagues, all 32 (and sometimes more than 32) kickers are drafted. FFPC participants are among the most-thorough preparers in this hobby, and all of the data is taken from paid leagues.
• Footballguys ADP - A compilation of several different sources; this is pretty smooth data.
• David Dodds' Projections - Dodds spends 100s of hours a year doing projections. The numbers are solid and fit in with the historical parameters of the NFL.

And we'll also look at each kicker's career FG percentage.

The Here Is Everyone's Top 6 Tier

If you want a kicker in the Top 6, here's your list -- it's that simple. Generally speaking, these guys have elite legs and are kicking for elite offenses. You can't beat that combo.

The Just a Bit Below the Ultra Elite Tier

The only difference between the talent in this tier and the one above is that the offenses might be a notch below elite. The presence of these guys should make everyone feel perfectly fine passing on a top-six kicker. Of course, if everyone is waiting, then those six studs will drop as well.

The These Guys Are Still Available? Tier

These guys are either really old or really young, and they are a notch below the career-long consistency found in the higher-up tiers. Still, the players in this tier kick for offenses that should afford them a large number of attempts this season. Very solid options here.

The I Waited All This Time and Still Got a Decent Kicker Tier

If your home league is one of those old-school types of leagues where a lot of people still get a backup kicker, you'll still be perfectly fine taking one of these guys. Each of them is pretty accurate and are actually on pretty good offenses. Having these guys available this late is a testament to the depth available at the position.

The Last Chance K Tier

In the vast majority of leagues, this is the absolute last tier of kicker you'll want to be selecting from. Hopefully, it doesn't come to this group for you, but even if it does, these guys aren't that bad at all.

The Ain't No Need for This Tier

This group...you don't want anyone from this group.
