Quarterbacks
Rank | Play | Opponent | Salary |
1 | Dak Prescott | vs. Texans | $6,500 |
2 | Mike White | at Bills | $5,500 |
3 | Jalen Hurts | at Giants | $8,100 |
The Cowboys are 17.5-point home favorites and they have the highest Implied Team Total (31) of the week. Dak Prescott ranks fifth in pass touchdowns per game (1.9) and leads a Dallas offense that ranks eighth in Expected Points Added per Play (EPA/Play) and tenth in Success Rate. Prescott has an awesome matchup against a Texans defense that ranks 29th in EPA/Play Allowed, 26th in Success Rate, and 28th in Dropback EPA Allowed.
Mike White is averaging 342 passing yards and 1.5 pass touchdowns per game in two starts this season. He's slinging the rock and has the support of the coaching staff and his teammates. White will keep his foot on the gas pedal against a banged-up Bills defense that only ranks 19th in Success Rate and 17th in Dropback EPA Allowed. Priced at just $5,500, White allows flexibility to jam in studs at other positions.
If paying up at quarterback in cash, Jalen Hurts is your man. Hurts ranks third in DraftKings points per game (26.8), ranks seventh in pass touchdowns per game (1.7), and leads an Eagles offense that ranks second in EPA/Play, first in Success Rate, ninth in Pass Rate Over Expected (PROE), and eighth in Early Down Pass Frequency (EDPF). Hurts, of course, is extremely dangerous with his legs as well and has a good matchup against a Giants defense that ranks 25th in EPA/Play Allowed, 16th in Success Rate, and 19th in Dropback EPA Allowed.
Running Backs
Rank | Play | Opponent | Salary |
1 | Derrick Henry | vs. Jaguars | $7,900 |
2 | Christian McCaffrey | vs. Buccaneers | $8,500 |
3 | DOnta Foreman | at Seahawks | $5,400 |
4 | Miles Sanders | at Giants | $6,200 |
5 | Zonovan Knight | at Bills | $5,100 |
Derrick Henry dominates the Jaguars and it's all lined up for him to do so once again at home on Sunday. Henry ranks third in opportunities per game (23.9), third in total yards per game (113.7), and tenth in touchdowns per game (0.8) and without Treylon Burks due to a concussion, look for the Titans offense to ride Henry even more. The matchup is awesome against a Jaguars defense that ranks 26th in EPA/Play Allowed, 24th in Success Rate, and 19th in Rush EPA Allowed.
Without Elijah Mitchell last week, Christian McCaffrey saw 27 total opportunities and turned them into 146 total yards and 1 touchdown. With Jimmy Garoppolo out, look for Brock Purdy to continue relying on McCaffrey in the short passing game after funneling him targets in his debut action. McCaffrey now ranks sixth in opportunities per game (20.3) and eighth in total yards per game (104.9). McCaffrey is pricey but his elite opportunities are locked in and the Buccaneers defense only ranks 14th in Rush EPA Allowed.
