WEEK 20 PLAYS
Tom Brady Under 289.5 Passing Yards
The Packers have the best secondary remaining in the playoffs. On the season, they allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and allowed just 237 passing yards per game. The Packers allowed 290 or more yards just twice this season. This will be a challenging matchup for the Buccaneers as Jaire Alexander will be an incredibly difficult matchup for Mike Evans this week. Brady ended the season as hot as just about anyone as he threw for 340+ yards in five of his last seven games. Brady did struggle a little bit last week as he only completed 54.5 % of his passing yards and 199 yards.
Mike Evans Under 63.5 Receiving Yards
Mike Evans has an incredibly difficult matchup this week facing off against Jaire Alexander who is arguably was the top corner in football this season. Alexander has been a shut down corner for most of the season, but one of his best performances earlier this year came against Mike Evans who Alexander covered for 76% of the plays in their first meeting, and Evans did not have a single target in that contest while facing Alexander. Evans struggles against the elite physical corners as his track record against Marshon Lattimore have been well documented and we saw this once again last week where he had just one reception for three yards.
Davante Adams to Score and Packers to Win +110
Davante Adams has scored in 11 of his last 12 games this season and is another great opportunity to find the end zone this week. Tampa Bay’s run defense continues to be one of the best in the NFL and will be even stronger as they activated Vita Vea from IR, which should force the Packers to throw the ball in the Red Zone to Adams. Adams led the league by a wide margin in the Red Zone as he had 32 targets compared to the next closest receiver who had just 26. If the Packers have any chance to make the Super Bowl, Adams will need to find the end zone.
Aaron Jones Under 62.5 Rushing Yards
Aaron Jones was incredibly impressive against a strong Rams defense rushing for 99 yards on just 14 carries. This week he will be facing the best run defense that gets one of its best players back after missing him for most of the season. Vita Vea the space eating defensive tackle will return after being out since Week 5. When Vea is playing well, this is a unit that is almost impossible to run against as Devin White and Lavonte David have space don’t have to worry about shedding blockers, but instead can focus on hitting the holes and making the tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
Darrell Williams Under 42.5 Rushing Yards
Clyde Edwards-Helaire was very close to returning last week, but was unable to go on Sunday morning. By all accounts he should be back this week and is practicing with the #1 offense. Darrell Williams looked great last week rushing for 78 yards, but the concern is the split backfield this week as the Chiefs in a game in which they largely had in control, ran the ball a total of just 15 times last week. If that holds true this week (or even goes down facing more difficult competition), then it is reasonable to think that Williams only gets 7-8 carries while Edwards-Helaire gets the other 7-8. If that is the case, 42.5 is too high and the number should be closer to 35.
