Below are some props that you should keep your eye on as you head into Week 3.
All props are coming from DraftKings Sportsbook lines and be sure to keep checking back throughout the weekend as props are added over the course of the 24 hours prior to the game. The number of props will largely depend on the recommended plays. We will not be forcing the number of props just to meet a number as if it is on here, it is deemed a good play

WEEK 3 PLAYS
Josh Allen Under 264.5 yards passing
Josh Allen has been tremendous to start the season and if the season ended today, he would be a front-runner for the MVP. In his two games this season, he has thrown for 415 and 312 yards respectively, but with further digging you probably want to take the under in this game. Allen has faced two of the worst defenses in the NFL this season in Miami and the New York Jets, and this week is facing off against a Rams team that boasts one of the best secondaries in the NFL. Through two games, the Rams have allowed 266 and 242 yards to Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz. While Allen has made improvements, we aren’t ready to believe he is better than Prescott and probably not better than Wentz as a passer.
Baker Mayfield Over 239.5
Washington Football Team still has one of the best front lines in the NFL, but they’ve really struggled against the pass this season allowing 278 yards passing per game to Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz. Mayfield has struggled as he is averaging just 204 yards passing per game, but one of those games was against the Ravens who have one of the best secondaries in football, and the other was against the Bengals who are unable to stop the run which the Browns took full advantage of. Expect Mayfield and the Browns to get on track this week especially as Jarvis Landry appears to be returning to full health as he was a full participant for practice all week for the first time this season.
Drew Sample Over 31.5 Receiving Yards
C.J. Uzomah tore his Achiles left Thursday and one of the more under reported players this week has been Drew Sample who was a primary target for Joe Burrow in the second-half attempted comeback for the Bengals. Sample is an athletic receiving tight end who the Bengals spent a second round pick in the 2019 draft. Through two games, Bengals tight ends have 16 receptions and Sample is in a tremendous spot this week to get well over 31 yards.
Mike Davis Under 30.5 Receiving Yards
With no Christian McCaffrey this week, Mike Davis will take over as the lead back in Carolina. Davis was outstanding as a receiver last week catching eight passes. Davis is a player who Carolina running backs coach absolutely loves, Matt Rhule has come out and said he has starting running back ability. Expect Davis to be utilized as a receiver in this game much like he was last week. The problem for Mike Davis is that he won’t be entering the game in a favorable game script. Last week, Davis was relied upon as the Panthers were down 21-0 at half and largely abandoned the run once McCaffrey left the game. Expect Davis to see a lot of his touches this week in the traditional fashion as a running back in what should be a more competitive game this week against the Chargers.
Leonard Fournette Over 15.5 Receiving Yards
This is a bet that it depends on how you believe the Buccaneers passing game will go. If you believe that this is now Leonard Fournette’s job, this 15.5 yards should be easily obtainable as Fournette had five targets once he took over from Ronald Jones II. Fournette is a more than capable receiver who when he gets out in space can make a big play. With the Buccaneers still trying to find their identity, this should be the week in which Fournette becomes the lead back in Tampa and Brady gets his receiving running back that has helped him throughout his career.
Sam Darnold Under 204.5 Passing Yards
On the season, the Colts so far are looking like their offseason acquisition to boost their defense has paid off. They added Xavier Rhodes and DeForest Buckner which have contributed to why they have only allowed 143 yards passing this season to Gardner Minshew and Kirk Cousins. The Jets from a talent perspective simply have no one for Darnold to throw to as Breshad Perriman and Jamison Crowder are both out this week as is Denzel Mims the team’s second round pick in 2020. This is a situation in which the Jets will have limited options to move the ball and are facing an elite defense.
additions
Darren Waller Over 51.5
With no Henry Ruggs, and Bryan Edwards/Josh Jacobs are banged up, this is a Raiders team that are going to have to rely on their star tight end in Waller once again this week. Footballguys currently has Waller projected at 63 yards which is one of the bigger disparities of the day. While the Patriots typically try to take out the best player, they have yet to be tested against the tight end position and with a few of their starters opting out of the season most notably Patrick Chung, there still are some questions that they have to answer.
jUJU sMITH-sCHUSTER mORE rECEIVING yARDS THAN wILL fULLER -140
This one is just too big of a disparity of Footballguys projections. Smith-Schuster is projected for 68 yards while Fuller is projected for just 49 yards. Expect the Steelers to shut down the big play of Fuller this week.
