Tyrod Taylor came into Monday’s game in relief of an ineffective Tommy Devito. Head coach Brian Daboll did not announce the team’s Week 17 starter, so watch the news before waivers run this week. If Taylor starts in place of DeVito, he will be a QB2/QB3-type streamer in Week 17. He warrants a keep-away bid for anyone playing in a championship against a team facing quarterback problems.
Sam Howell has struggled of late and was benched for the second consecutive week in favor of Jacoby Brissett, who came into the game and sparked the Washington offense. Brissett completed 10 of his 13 passes for 100 yards and scored a touchdown. If Washington turns to Brissett in Week 17, Brissett warrants similar treatment to Taylor if he's available on the waiver wire.
