Jordan Addison (WR-MIN) - This is more of a redraft than a dynasty take, but he might not be available in either format. He has hit twice on long scores in the first two weeks, even though he’s still playing fewer snaps than K.J. Osborn. Eventually, that is going to flip and give Addison a higher weekly ceiling. This Vikings offense also looks like it will be filling the air with footballs because of a sluggish running game and an under-construction Brian Flores defense.
Jakobi Meyers (WR-LV) - Meyers may not be priced that high after missing Week 2 with a concussion, but he’s on track to play this week against a Steelers secondary that is very beatable. Meyers was huge in Week 1, and he clearly has the eye of Jimmy Garoppolo in a short-range passing game that will be leaned on a lot against a ferocious Steelers edge rush. The team is showing no will to use their $13.1 million slot receiver, Hunter Renfrow, so it’s not hard to picture Meyers hitting 100 catches if he can stay healthy.
Raheem Mostert (RB-MIA) - It might surprise you to learn that Mostert played 16 out of 17 regular season games last year. He didn’t have a lead-back workload, but that’s a sign that he could be learning how to manage his durability better at this point in his career. He obviously meshes well with the Mike McDaniel running game going back to their time together in San Francisco, and everyone behind him is either banged up or a rookie. Even when Jeff Wilson comes back, that could help Mostert last longer this year, but Wilson’s recent durability record is worse than Mostert’s. He’s a cheap way to help your backfield in dynasty leagues right now.
Jerome Ford (RB-CLE) - This one is tricky. If someone just blew a huge amount of FAAB bucks on Ford, they will probably overinflate his value. There’s still a good chance that they moved his value down significantly when Kareem Hunt signed with the Browns this week, but that could be premature. Ezekiel Elliott hasn’t really affected Rhamondre Stevenson’s value, and Dalvin Cook probably won’t be as big a drag on Breece Hall’s value as we thought he’d be. Of course, Ford isn’t the proven talent that Stevenson or Hall is, but he had some juice last week, and now expectations have been lowered. Dynasty teams might be looking to sell high, but Ford has a golden opportunity with Nick Chubb due almost 12 million dollars next year but only coming with a four million dead cap charge if he’s released.
