The appeal of playing dynasty fantasy football is that you never fully stop building your rosters. There is always time to make moves to either help build a contender or rebuild your struggling roster. Now that the 2022 class has come and gone, it's time to start looking ahead to the 2023 class. This season, we will provide fantasy managers with a top-36 big board that will be updated weekly to reflect the top 36 draft-eligible players in college football. The hope is that this big board will give you actual names and value to any draft pick you are trying to trade or acquire.
Standout Performances
RB Blake Corum (Jr – Michigan): 5-foot-9, 200 lbs
Corum continues to have an impressive season for the Wolverines. Corum has a legitimate chance to win the Heisman trophy this season if Michigan can go undefeated and beat the Ohio State Buckeyes at the end of the season. The junior running back has 227 attempts for 1,349 yards and seventeen touchdowns. He has now rushed for at least one hundred yards in the last seven games and scored a touchdown in every game this season. Corum has had such a strong season that he’s completely reshaped his draft value heading into 2023. The following two weeks are big for him in terms of personal accolades.
RB Miyan Williams (Jr – Ohio State): 5-foot-9, 225 lbs
Miyan Williams has been the best running back on Ohio State’s offense this season. While TreVeyon Henderson has a higher ceiling as a pro prospect, we haven’t seen him enough o field this season as he’s dealt with lingering injuries. Williams has produced enough this season to improve his draft stock and has proven to be a player that Ohio State has leaned on when their offense has struggled. Most notably against Northwestern. This last weekend he rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown on just fifteen carries. He is making a real case to be a late-day two selection next April. His ultimate draft capital will come down to his testing numbers, but his 2022 season can’t be overlooked. If he can have a big game against Michigan in two weeks, he should start seeing national recognition.
TE Darnell Washington (Jr – Georgia): 6-foot-7, 270 lbs
This is Darnell Washington’s first appearance on the big board this season, and it’s time to acknowledge that he is most likely getting drafted higher than many think. Washington has had an up-and-down carer at Georgia but has shown solid production this season. This season, he has twenty-four receptions for 392 yards and a touchdown through nine games. He has career highs in all statistical categories and, according to scouts around the country, is among their top fifty in the current draft class. As a player, Washington is a physical specimen. His RAS score will be through the roof, and if he gets the type of draft that scouts expect, he will be a dynasty asset to keep your eye on at a tight-end position desperate for talent. In a recent dynasty mock draft, Washington went as TE8 off the board in the startup draft. He’s a player that must be on your radar.
2023 Draft Pick Values
With the NFL season halfway finished, dynasty leagues are becoming increasingly active, which means more trades are undoubtedly occurring. The whole point of this big board each week is to help you identify where the talent in the current class is and start identifying target areas and tiers to trade for. It’s also important to understand market values and what 2023 picks cost in the dynasty market. One area that you can exploit right now if you are looking to acquire picks is by shipping off your middle-tier running backs. Managers are desperate to find production out of their running back spot, and now is the best time to exploit their weaknesses. Below you will find players who are currently being moved for 2023 first-round picks.
