Wednesday Media Updates
***Joe Mixon has not practiced in nearly a month. The Bengals refuse to address his condition and availability but he shouldn't be expected to return until he begins workouts. He's likely to need multiple reconditioning workouts before gaining clearance to return. Week 12 now looks like the earliest possible return date.
***Davante Adams was limited after last week's ankle injury. He wouldn't commit to playing this week but is preparing to play and noted that it will be easier to play through an ankle sprain than the hamstring injury that cost him multiple weeks.
***Calvin Ridley was limited in practice and wants to play this week. Limited video of route-running drills today showed Ridley less than fully comfortable with change of direction. He may improve during the week but consider him questionable at best for now.
***Matthew Stafford finished last week's game after a thumb injury. On Monday, Stafford sounded optimistic about his status for this week. On Wednesday, after reports of a partially torn ligament in the thumb, Stafford would only say he's taking his recovery day-by-day. Consider him questionable until he proves he can grip and throw the ball.
***Allen Lazard was added to the active roster. That does not guarantee he'll play this week. Lazard had to be added to the roster this week or he would have been ineligible to return this season. Matt LaFleur told reporters Lazard would be eased back into rotation until he shows he's fully recovered.
***Teddy Bridgewater was limited in practice but is expected to play this week.
***Drew Lock has bruised ribs and a strained oblique muscle. He'll need to prove he can throw accurately before being cleared to play. After a missed practice on Wednesday, Lock is less likely to play.

THURSDAY NIGHT INJURY EXPECTATIONS
Here are the key offensive players listed on the practice participation or game status report for Thursday Night Football:
Arizona at Seattle
***The Seahawks have three critical offensive performers to track. Carlos Hyde had a strong week of practice and will return from a hamstring strain. Tyler Lockett is also expected to play through what Pete Carroll described as "a bit of a knee sprain." The status of Chris Carson is less clear. He's reportedly a game-time decision but his downgrade to a Wednesday DNP is concerning. He'll play a limited role if active. Travis Homer is also expected to miss the game with a hand injury.
***Kenyan Drake fully practiced on Wednesday after 38 snaps, 16 carries, and 100 yards last week. He's recovered well from a low-grade high ankle sprain and ready to play on a short week.
Early week practice participation and playing expectations
The Wednesday and Thursday practice participation reports are our first chance to see which players each NFL team is limiting in practice after the previous week's games. Players limited in mid-week practice aren't necessarily in danger of missing that week's game. But they all need to be watched closely.
