Philadelphia, Team Mood

Staffers in a Good Mood
- Jason Wood: Philly became a playoff team by committing to the ground attack in 2021 by running behind an elite offensive line. They want to pass more, but can they?
- Dan Hindery: As long as Jalen Hurts can take a step forward as a passer. The passing game should have more volume than many expect and be a sneaky-good fantasy offense. Hurts has massive upside.
- Sam Wagman: On paper, this is the best Eagles team in nearly a decade. Jalen Hurts has QB1 overall upside, A.J. Brown gives you a top-10 wide receiver, and the defense is much improved.
- Sigmund Bloom: This could be one of the highest efficiency offenses in the league with a strong line, running game, and variety of passing game threats.
- Dave Kluge: This team has a strong foundation in the trenches and with offensive weapons. And if Hurts can't take that step forward, they've got the draft capital to move up for a quarterback next year.
- Jeff Haseley: If Jalen Hurts improves as a passer, I'll feel great. Hurts had 10 games with 2. The ground game is there for him to excel but his passing prowess isn't there yet.
- Christian Williams: The offense could be one of the most explosive in the NFL.
- Ryan Weisse: They are returning a lot of their team and are in a winnable division.
- Jeff Bell: Strong offensive line, a mobile quarterback, and depth through the skill positions make this an offense to target.
- Jonathan Morris: An elite offensive line with a dual-threat quarterback, excellent receiving options, and several running backs who can make an impact.
- James Brimacombe: It is hard to not like all the fantasy assets in Philadelphia this year.
- Craig Lakins: I'm bullish on Jalen Hurts taking another step forward in Year 3. A.J. Brown provides a massive upgrade to the Eagles' weaponry.
- Jordan McNamara: The Eagles are set up well for a lot of success when they find their quarterback, and it could be Hurts.
Staffers in a Neutral Mood
- Andy Hicks: Philadelphia overachieved under Nick Sirianni in year one. Year 2 will have higher expectations and disappointment is likely.
- Ben Cummins: Jalen Hurts, Devonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert should all continue to progress together. A.J. Brown was added as the alpha wide receiver. But it’s up to Hurts to support these weapons.

Players We're In On at Cost
- Jalen Hurts - 9
- DeVonta Smith - 4
- Kenneth Gainwell - 1
- Dallas Goedert - 1
- All of them - 1
Reasons to be In on Jalen Hurts
- Jason Wood: Hurts' rushing stats are overwhelmingly valuable. When healthy, he has one of the highest floors at the position.
- Dave Kluge: Hurts has everything you want in a fantasy quarterback: rushing upside, a great offensive line, and high-end pass-catchers.
- Christian Williams: Hurts has top-three upside.
- Ryan Weisse: Hurts has a great floor and ceiling.
- Jeff Bell: A mid-value quarterback with the ceiling to finish as the QB1 overall.
- Ben Cummins: Hurts has exciting receiving weapons and ran for 784 yards and 10 touchdowns last year. The overall QB1 is possible for him.
- Jonathan Morris: His rushing volume creates a high floor. Along with defensives having to commit to the run should set him up for a great year passing.
- Craig Lakins: When Hurts starts making big plays in the passing game consistently, a top quarterback finish is a certainty.
Reasons to be In on DeVonta Smith
- Dan Hindery: Smith is a nice buy-low candidate and the gap between him and A.J. Brown may not be as big as ADP would lead you to believe.
- Sam Wagman: Smith is being underrated in this offense in favor of Brown and Dallas Goedert, but the passing volume is set to improve and he is a solid option as well.
- Jeff Haseley: With teams focusing on stopping A.J. Brown, Smith will have an opportunity to thrive. Smith also has a discount in ADP due to being the WR2 on the team. If Hurts improves, Smith is an even better value.
- Ryan Weisse: Smith will benefit from being the team's WR2.
Reasons to be In on Kenneth Gainwell
- Christian Williams: Gainwell is essentially free at the end of drafts.
Reasons to be In on Dallas Goedert
- Christian Williams: Jordan McNamara: He profiles as basically Mark Andrews 2.0 as a high-efficiency player with volume concerns.
Reasons to be In on All of Them
- James Brimacombe: It is hard to not like all the fantasy assets in Philadelphia this year - Hurts, Sanders, Brown, Smith, Goedert, and even Gainwell.
Players We're Out On at Cost
- A.J. Brown - 7
- Miles Sanders - 4
- Dallas Goedert - 3
- DeVonta Smith - 1
- No One - 1
Reasons to be Out on A.J. Brown
- Jason Wood: Brown goes from a run-heavy offense to an even more run-heavy offense, at least conceptually. Hurts' accuracy isn't a given, and Brown needs a massive touchdown haul to justify his ADP.
- Jeff Haseley: Expectations are high but the reality is he may not be much better than when he was in Tennessee.
- Christian Williams: Just too costly.
- Ryan Weisse: They will need to throw a lot more to get Brown anywhere near the numbers he needs to match his fantasy ADP.
- Ben Cummins: Is being drafted too high in a limited passing offense.
Reasons to be Out on Miles Sanders
- Dan Hindery: This could be a frustrating committee we will want no part of in fantasy.
- Sam Wagman: I am avoiding any running back here, as this could once again be a crowded timeshare between Jalen Hurts, Sanders, and Kenneth Gainwell.
- Jeff Bell: He told me to.
- Craig Lakins: I can't trust him to be featured around the goal line.
Reasons to be Out on Dallas Goedert
- Dave Kluge: Goedert isn't a huge fade for me, but I fear that he's third in the pecking order behind Brown and Smith, making his TE8 price tag a bit steep.
- Christian Williams: Just too costly.
- Jonathan Morris: The Eagles run the ball too much for me to love the third or fourth passing option.
Reasons to be Out on DeVonta Smith
- Jordan McNamara: Smith had a good rookie season, but he's crowded out target-wise by A.J. Brown and Dallas Goedert.
Reasons to be Out on No One
- Sigmund Bloom: This offense could easily create multiple overachievers.
