Jimmy Garoppolo leads a 49ers offense that ranks seventh in EPA/Play and fourth in Success Rate. He has a decent matchup against a Cardinals defense that ranks 13th in EPA/Play Allowed, 13th in Dropback EPA Allowed, and 30th in Success Rate. And prior to last week, Garoppolo had two touchdown passes in four straight games.
Running Back/Wide Receiver/Tight End
Christian McCaffrey - Captain/Flex
Christian McCaffrey ranks seventh in the league in opportunities per game (20.6) and eighth in total yards per game (106.4) and has a favorable matchup against a Cardinals defense that ranks 13th in EPA/Play Allowed, 17th in Rush EPA Allowed, and 30th in Success Rate. With the 49ers being 8.5-point favorites in this one, McCaffrey is the best captain play.
George Kittle - Captain/Flex
Prior to last week, George Kittle had scored a touchdown in back-to-back games and now gets to play against a Cardinals defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to the tight end position this season. Kittle is in a smash spot.
