Miami, Team Mood
- Good - 4
- Neutral - 6
- Bad - 0
Staffers in a Good Mood
- Alfredo Brown: A creative play-caller in McDaniel and dangerous weapons added all over the offense.
- Jeff Haseley: I feel good about the team in general on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, but the AFC is loaded with playoff-caliber teams.
- Christian Williams: The offense replaced DeVante Parker with Tyreek Hill and Myles Gaskin with a flurry of scheme-fitting running backs.
- Craig Lakins: A lot rests on Tua Tagovailoa's shoulders, but he's been given all the offensive weapons he needs to succeed.
Staffers in a Neutral Mood
- Jason Wood: A lot of people think the arrow points up because of new head coach Mike McDaniel. But not every assistant coach with a good rep pans out. Let's wait and see if McDaniel is special.
- Sam Wagman: But if Tua Tagovailoa can take the next step this season, things move very quickly.
- Ben Cummins: Tagovailoa led Miami to a boring 24th-ranked offensive DVOA last season, but the additions of Hill, Edmonds, and McDaniel provide upside.
- Chad Parsons: Be skeptical of Tua Tagovailoa as a lid-lifter of a passing game, but the weapons are improving with Tyreek Hill pushing down everyone in the pecking order.
- Jeff Bell: Production should be consistent between Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, though they may be the only worthwhile plays.
- Andy Hicks: While everyone else thinks Minnesota will be great with new coaching, but not so in Miami? Tua Tagovailoa is not Kirk Cousins is a good response
Staffers in a Bad Mood

Players We're In On at Cost
- Chase Edmonds - 3
- Sony Michel - 3
- Sony Michel and Chase Edmonds - 1
- The Cheapest Dolphins RB - 1
- Tyreek Hill - 1
- Tua Tagovailoa - 1
Reasons to be In on Chase Edmonds
- Jason Wood: He's one of the least expensive projected starters in what should be an efficient, run-heavy system.
- Ben Cummins: Edmonds is a cheap dual-threat projected starter in an offense led by a member of the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree.
- Craig Lakins: There is no reason he should be the 36th RB off the board. He will see plenty of work and has the talent to put up numbers.
Reasons to be In on Sony Michel
- Chad Parsons: Tough to find value on the offense, but Michel has crashed depth charts before, and do not expect the former Round 1 pick not to play a role.
- Jeff Haseley: Michel is a great late value and could find himself fantasy relevant at some point this season.
- Christian Williams: While Edmonds could be the highest-scoring back in Miami, Michel could lead the team in carries and have value.
Reasons to be In on Sony Michel and Chase Edmonds
- Andy Hicks: They can both exceed their draft prices. Tyreek Hill will rightfully scare opposing defenses. Time for the running game to shine
Reasons to be In on The Cheapest Dolphins RB
- Jeff Bell: Every drafter should look to leave with a piece of the Dolphins' rushing game between Edmonds, Michel, or Mostert.
Reasons to be In on Tyreek Hill
- Sam Wagman: He is still Tyreek Hill. He isn’t catching balls from Mahomes anymore, but he’ll put up solid numbers as always.
Reasons to be In on Tua Tagovailoa
- Alfredo Brown: Tagovailoa has major upside with Hill, Waddle, Gesicki, Edmonds, and an improved O-Line.
Players We're Out On at Cost
- Tyreek Hill - 6
- Mike Gesicki - 2
- Jaylen Waddle - 2
- The Most Expensive Dolphins RB - 1
Reasons to be Out on Tyreek Hill
- Jason Wood: Until we know whether Tua Tagovailoa can optimize Hill's deep speed, he's too risky at his elite ADP.
- Alfredo Brown: Hill is a little too rich considering the rushing attack and Waddle's rapport with Tua.
- Jeff Haseley: Fantasy-wise, the Dolphins aren't that strong of a passing unit to keep both afloat in top-12 waters.
- Andy Hicks: No Patrick Mahomes II and no Andy Reid offense equals far fewer fantasy points for Hill.
- Christian Williams: Jaylen Waddle's long history with Tua Tagovailoa should command a massive target share again in 2022.
- Craig Lakins: He's a one-of-a-kind talent, but Hill moving on from Patrick Mahomes II will always make me sad. I don't think he'll have the same opportunity with a lesser quarterback while splitting up targets with Waddle and Gesicki.
Reasons to be Out on Mike Gesicki
- Sam Wagman: Gesicki is the odd man out of this offense. He is dependent on passing volume and has been knocked down by the Hill addition.
- Ben Cummins: With added target competition, I have no interest in Mike Gesicki.
Reasons to be Out on Jaylen Waddle
- Chad Parsons: Tyreek Hill's addition is a horrible historical sign for Waddle maintaining his role from 2021.
- Jeff Haseley: Fantasy-wise, the Dolphins aren't that strong of a passing unit to keep both afloat in top-12 waters.
Reasons to be Out on The Most Expensive Dolphins RB
- Jeff Bell: One of the most ambiguous situations, McDaniel was the run game coordinator who pulled Elijah Mitchell out of nowhere.
