Busts on the Baltimore Ravens

Reasons WR Zay Flowers Could Be a Bust

  • Jason Wood: Flowers has ranked WR36 and WR34 on a per-game basis the last two seasons, yet drafters keep viewing him as a fringe WR1. The Ravens offense spreads the ball around by design, and if Flowers were capable of target dominance, we would've seen it by now. He's a rock-solid WR3, at a WR2 price, unfortunately.
  • Meng Song: Baltimore's defense and ground game are perennially too good for Flowers to see enough volume and red-zone looks to be more than a boom/bust WR3.
  • Phil Alexander: Awesome real-life player being drafted at his ceiling in fantasy. Basically, a zilch in the red zone, and volume is unreliable from week to week.
  • Hutchinson Brown: The Ravens offense does not pass a ton, and Derrick Henry and Mark Andrews steal a lot of touchdowns. This leaves Flowers in a role that leaves us with little upside in fantasy football.
  • Colton Dodgson: He led the team in target share, but his touchdown volume was among the lowest at the position. His role in the offense projects for modest reception and touchdown production.
