It happened folks. College football returned just as the prophecies foretold! Moreover, dynasty degenerates like you and I can begin to assign tangible values to our 2025 picks. This is a crucial time of year when other dynasty managers are pushing in their chips for a title run, or some may have incorrectly valued their roster. Thus creating a fantastic buy/sell window for you to capitalize on. So we’ll breakdown the Big Board for the 2025 class, look at the values of current draft picks, and give you real trades to help you not “get got” while dynasty movement picks up for the season.
Standout Performances
WR/CB Travis Hunter (JR - Colorado) 6’1, 185 lbs
I’ll keep it simple, Travis Hunter is the best prospect in the 2025 class. Not in fantasy, but the entire class. This does account for him playing both sides of the ball, but his 2023 Grade would make him the WR3 and still an excellent 1st round player. But the home opener against North Dakota State was eye-popping and already made me bump up a few scores. Hunter is already an Elite player and we’re not even near his ceiling after a game where he put up seven catches, 132 yards, and 3 touchdowns

Make that three touchdowns for Travis Hunter tonight ? pic.twitter.com/zzohGx3ybZ
QB Shedeur Sanders (SR - Colorado) 6’2, 215 lbs
Yes, I know teams other than Colorado played this week. Yes, I know other teams are better. Yes, I know Coach Prime’s methods are a bit narcissistic and unorthodox. This doesn’t mean that the individual players don’t deserve to be evaluated fairly. Sanders has consistently flashed NFL talent since last season but has been held back by poor offensive line play and pedestrian play calling. Sanders certainly has an NFL arm, prototypical size, and enough athleticism to extend plays and run an RPO. The Buffs brought in NFL vet Pat Shurmur as the new OC and made an effort to improve the offensive line in the offseason which gave us an opportunity to see more from the senior and he delivered a 445-yard and four touchdown game on 26/34 attempts. The Senior showed accuracy, toughness in the pocket, and the ability to make things happen under duress. I understand that NDSU is an FCS school, but they’re no slouch. Moreover, neither Sanders nor Travis Hunter play defensive line and Linebacker and can only do so much.

WR Xavier Restrepo (SR - Miami) 5’10, 198 lbs
See, I told you I know other teams beyond Colorado. And I even tried to tip people off to Restrepo before Week 1 even started
Remember Xavier Restrepo and remember that you learned about him here when you draft him 2ndish round of rookie drafts.
— Jagger May (@JagSays) August 29, 2024
Restrepo will never be described as a “specimen” or an “absolute unit,” but he is one of this draft class's smoothest route runners with excellent body control even despite his scat-back size. The Senior posted 112 yards and a touchdown on seven catches in Miami’s blowout win over Florida and was the unquestionable top target in an improved offense. Project him to fit the profiles of Josh Downs, Jayden Reed, and Ladd McConkey when he leaves for the NFL
WR Tetairoa McMillan (JR - Arizona) 6’5, 212 lbs
We all knew Tet McMillan would be a good player, but I didn’t expect College Football ‘25 on Freshman Mode-level production with a school-record night of 304 yards, four touchdowns, on 10 catches.
#Big12FB Offensive Player of the Week: Week 1?

T-Mac has elite size but has the skill to put that to use with strong hands and playmaking ability. My initial grade on McMillan had him just two points from what I label a Blue Chip Prospect, but still a 1st rounder with a high ceiling. Needless to say, I’ve had to make adjustments.
