WE'VE MADE IT! (Maybe) It's finally the fantasy playoffs! We're even near the CFB playoffs, and for this particular series, it's important to note that underclassmen are beginning to declare, and some are staying or transferring. So, after taking off a few names and highlighting some prospects the entire community is sleeping on, we'll look at the current Dynasty Super Flex Big Board once again.
We all know the big names like Tetairoa McMillan, Ashton Jeanty, and the Colorado kids. But most of us are in 12-team leagues, and we can't all draft Heisman finalists. Ja'Corey Brooks and Tai Felton are two examples of why the narrative of “2025 is a weak receiving class” was always destined to be false. We see risers in every class at this position, and this particular season has larger X-receivers, unlike another so-called weak class in 2023. Then we have Woody Marks, who will be an interesting piece for any team. The key point I want to make is you should be informed. Trade season is about to heat up as we close the fantasy season, and you need to know who to target past the 1.05.
The Most Underrated Prospects
Ja'Corey Brooks, Louisville (RS-SR)
Height: 6-3 Weight: 195
Strengths
- Big Target
- Good Deep Target
Weaknesses
If you've read my Top-20 Wide Receiver Rankings, you already know I'm fairly high on Brooks. The NFL has been flooded with talented slots and Z-receivers, but X has been lacking, with talents like Quentin Johnston failing to pan out. If you were a playoff team or holding mid-picks, I'm smashing the draft button on Brooks if he gets second-round draft capital. Alabam knows how to recruit, but sometimes, talented guys need to transfer to shine. Brooks is a classic example of a change of scenery being the right move to let talent shine.
Tai Felton, Maryland (SR)
Height: 6-2 Weight: 186
Strengths
- Fast and Efficient Release
- Excellent Ball Tracking
- Burst
Weaknesses
Felton is a talented deep threat that will open up an offense underneath after the league learns to respect him. He won't blow anyone away after the catch, but ideally, he's getting the ball intermediate to deep anyhow. His thin frame and level of competition might be a knock, but he's technically sound in ways most from small schools never need to learn. He'll likely be a second-round rookie pick, but a strong bet I'm willing to make
Woody Marks RB, USC (SR)
Height: 5-10 Weight: 207
Strengths
- Elite Receiver
- Elite Burst and Long-Speed
Weaknesses
If there is a Woody Marks fan club, I'd be a board member. He has all the qualities that made us enamored with Marshawn Lloyd except he has actual production and much better patience and vision. Patience and speed are a deadly combo, and Marks is one of the best at marrying the two traits. Don't be surprised if he ends up as the best value in rookie drafts.
