Tyler Allgeier (RB-ATL) - Allgeier was in the background in Week 7 because the Falcons were playing from behind, so the buzz around him may have died down a little. With the trade talks in dynasty leagues heating up, this is a good time to get Allgeier on the cheap. He has the look of a future starter when he gets to his second contract in 2026, and if Bijan Robinson misses time, he’s a slam dunk RB1. Allgeier is clearly starting quality, and his fantasy value will match in time.
J.K. Dobbins (RB-LAC) - Dobbins has only had one good fantasy game since he became the clear workhorse for the Chargers, but that could be about to change after Justin Herbert threw for 349 yards on Monday night. Defenses are going to have to honor the pass with Herbert finding a groove. The Chargers also have a string of positive game scripts coming up against the Saints, Browns, and Titans. Dobbins could be cheaper than you think in dynasty leagues because of injury superstition and cheaper than you think in redraft because some teams that have him might not be using him this week with no one on bye and overall souring on him if they have been leaving points on the bench by starting him.
Jaylen Wright (RB-MIA) - If you have an extra roster spot since no teams are on bye, consider adding Wright. The Dolphins running game is on track, and now we can see what it will do with a functional passing game. De'Von Achane and Raheem Mostert are healthy right now, but that can change quickly. Wright could be a league winner, but the summer buzz died down with Tua Tagovailoa’s injury and the early season running game struggles, so he might be on the wire. He’s also a good trade deadline target for rebuilding teams after usually lasting to the end of the second tier of running backs in rookie drafts.
Demario Douglas (WR-NE) - Hopefully you weren’t successful buying high on Douglas last week and can come back to his team and try to buy low this week. He left Week 7 because of an illness but was on track to match his Week 6 counts of nine targets and six catches. We saw what Drake Maye can do for Hunter Henry’s value. If Douglas becomes his favorite target, buckle up, it’s gonna be a fun ride.
Anthony Richardson (QB-IND) - It’s still very early in his career, but many are ready to pronounce Richardson a bust. He needs to have a better feel as a passer, but that issue is not impossible to overcome with a good play-caller and skill position talent around him. Jonathan Taylor’s eventual return could slow down defenses just enough for Richardson to be a calmer processor and more accurate passer. We already know the bar is low for running quarterbacks to have big-time fantasy value. Trading for Richardson at the lowest point in his value yet is a good, calculated risk if you don’t have a long-term answer at quarterback on your roster.
