Quarterback
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams (vs Philadelphia)
Stafford is likely to get Cooper Kupp back this week, which should take this offense to new heights. The Eagles pass defense has been suspect and gave up a big game to Sam Howell last week, so Stafford was already set up with a good matchup. The Rams' starting running back, Kyren Williams, missed practice with a hip injury. While he should play, that could slant the offense even more pass-heavy this week.
Sam Howell, Washington (vs Chicago) **Thursday**
The Bears defense has given up three passing scores to Russell Wilson and Jordan Love this year. They've given up 317 passing yards to Baker Mayfield. Chicago has only had four games. This week, their secondary is depleted, so an already poor pass defense is now turning to backups at multiple spots. Howell is set up for a big game after throwing for 290 and a score against Philadelphia last week.
Jordan Love, Green Bay (at Las Vegas)
Love will get to play with a fully healthy Christian Watson and Aaron Jones for the first time this season. He'll face the Raiders, who have given up multiple scores to every quarterback they have faced this year, including Kenny Pickett. Expect Love and the Packers offense to look better than they have at any point so far this season.
Zach Wilson, NY Jets (at Denver)
Wilson is gaining the confidence of his teammates. A matchup against Denver should help him gain confidence in himself. It was what got Justin Fields right last week and what allowed the Miami Dolphins to put up 70 (but not 73) points. The Broncos still haven't fired defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, so don't expect any improvement from their defense, which could open the door for Wilson to build on the momentum he created last week in the near upset of the Chiefs.
