The Guru's Notepad IDP Info, Notes from Week 6

As I watch games from Thursday through Monday Night Football, I take notes on the things that catch my eye. From injuries to unexpected box score production, both good and bad, to scheme quirks and situations that could affect a player's production in weeks to come. By Wednesday evening, I turn these notes and the subsequent news and investigation into the Eyes of the Guru column.

On Monday mornings, I will be sharing those raw notes. There will not be a lot of analysis or in-depth description. Those things take time and will come later in the week. The goal is to give our customers an early heads up on things that could impact your important decisions for the week, so if something in the notes is particularly important to your team, you can look into it on your own and/or wait until the EOTG comes out that week to get my take.

These are my notes from week six.

Arizona Cardinals

• Antonio Hamilton Sr. down, looks like groin
• Krys Barnes active but not in the lineup. Josh Woods 3-3

Atlanta Falcons

• Four linemen account for five sacks, Calais Campbell with the 100th of his career.
• Kaden Elliss not making plays 4-0. Nate Landman 6-2

Baltimore Ravens

• Kyle Hamilton ejected middle of the third quarter.
• Marcus Williams left late in the third, hamstring
• Justin Madubuike 4-1-2
• Jadeveon Clowney 2-0-2
• Patrick Queen beat the odds on a poor matchup. Roquan Smith had a below-average game 4-5

Buffalo Bills

• Dorian Williams at WLB 6-4. Tyrel Dodson not seeing much action 2-0
• Ed Oliver shut out

Carolina Panthers

• Frankie Luvu left with a hip injury
• How does Jeremy Chinn have no stats when the Panthers were without both starting safeties?

Chicago Bears

• Jaquan Brisker 3-3-0.5 FF PD. Good overall points, but where have all the tackles gone?
• Eddie Jackson left with a foot injury
• Kyler Gordon back in action 2-2. corner Snaps
• Jack Sanborn 5-3, 1 TFL, Tremaine Edmunds 2-4 FR PD. Snaps counts...

Cincinnati Bengals

• Cam Taylor-Britt with another big game, 7-0 Int, 3PD, impressive catch on an interception
• Cincinnati's pass rush stepping up 4 sacks, Hendrickson 3-1-1, Hubbard 4-3-1

Cleveland Browns

• Anthony Walker Jr. 1 tackle, huh? Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah 3-2-1 PD. No other LB with stats. San Francisco's offense sputtered after Christian McCaffrey went out.
• Myles Garrett 1-2 not completely unexpected
• Grant Delpit has cooled off 5-1

Dallas Cowboys

• Monday Night Football

Denver Broncos

• Jonathon Cooper 3-0-1 PD, and Zach Allen 2-2-1 beat the tough matchup
• Alex Singleton 10-1, Josey Jewell 7-2, snaps counts
• Corner Ja'Quan McMillian 7-0 PD 3TFL

Detroit Lions

• Has Jack Campbell 3-4, replaced Derrick Barnes 1-1 in the starting lineup?
• Josh Paschal was designated to return from IR

• Denzel Perryman was removed from the injury report on Friday but was inactive on Sunday, apparent coach's decision? Blake Cashman Blew up for 9-6 2PD, 2TFL
• Jalen Pitre looking more like himself 6-0

• Shaquille Leonard has best numbers of the season at 5-2. E.J. Speed down 2-0. Snaps?

• Who is safety Chamarri Conner? TFL on first series
• Willie Gay Jr with a big first half 5-1 PD. FF but no tackle stats in the second half. Nick Bolton had an interception late in the first half but no tackles stats. He was 3-1 in the second.

• Nothing of note

• Adoree Jackson neck, returned
• Micah McFadden back from the ankle injury, 2-2 int FR. Isaiah Simmons throws a doughnut. Playing time?

New York Jets

• Sauce Gardner DNP. Bryce Hall 1-2 int, Michael Carter 5-0 were the only corners with stats.
• Jermaine Johnson didn't get a sack, but he had plenty of pressure and 3 batted passes.
• Bryce Huff 2-1-1.5; 2.5 sacks in last two games
• Tony Adams finally showed up 5-2 int.

Philadelphia Eagles

• Haason Reddick might be back 4-1-2.5. Has a sack or more in three straight and 5.5 in over those games.
• Nakobe Dean returned, but both Zach Cunningham and Nicholas Morrow showed up on the stat sheet. Cunningham might be getting the playing time, but he's not putting up the numbers. 2-1, Snaps?
• Reed Blankenship left with a rib injury
• James Bradberry left early

Pittsburgh Steelers

• Bye week

Seattle Seahawks

• Safety roles. Jamal Adams 4-0 TFL, Quandre Diggs 8-0, Jordan Love 3-1
• Bobby Wagner 2-2, Jordyn Brooks 4-2. Bengals ran 13 times for 42 yards

San Francisco 49ers

• Dre Greenlaw DNP ankle, Oren Burks and Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles combined to replace him?
