Monkey Knife Fight Player Props, Week 10

Dan Hindery's Monkey Knife Fight Player Props, Week 10 Dan Hindery Published 11/10/2022

Monkey Knife Fight is one of the fastest-growing daily fantasy sites. It offers a fun and unique product. There are no salary caps and no need for lineup builders. You do not have to compete against DFS pros. Instead, you simply find the combination of player props you are most confident in and pick more or less. Since each combination (two or more players) plays in the same game, you can use correlation to your advantage. For example, if you assume that one starting quarterback throws for more yards than projected, the opposing quarterback also is more likely to throw for more yards. This weekly article will count down the five best props of the week.

5: Thursday Night Special

Kyle Pitts MORE than 40.5 receiving yards
Chuba Hubbard LESS than 35.5 rushing yards

  • Chuba Hubbard is expected to return from an ankle injury that has kept him out of the lineup for the past two weeks. We know how difficult ankle injuries can be for backs, and it would be crazy to think he returns anywhere close to 100%.
  • In Hubbard’s absence, DOnta Foreman took a big step towards cementing himself as the go-to option on running downs. He was incredibly impressive in Week 8, rushing for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns. While Foreman struggled in Week 9, he was put in an impossible situation with the offense completely overwhelmed in a blowout loss to the Bengals.
  • While Kyle Pitts has been a major disappointment this season, the usage in terms of market share has been outstanding. He has garnered at least 30% of the targets in each of the last three games and had a whopping 60.6% of the team air yards last week. The issue is simply that the Falcons have not been throwing enough for Pitts to be consistently productive.
  • While there is obvious risk here, it makes sense to roll the dice on Pitts this week. His best game of the season (5-80-1) came against these Panthers just two weeks ago. He was targeted nine times in that matchup and seven times last week.
  • If Pitts can get seven-plus targets again here, the receiving over is very solid. Pitts averages 8.4 yards per target in his career.
  • Based upon Marcus Mariota’s recent comments, expect Pitts to get force fed targets. "I think sometimes I've been a little too safe, a little too conservative where I'm putting the football, so giving him a chance to go get it,” said Mariota “I think that'll help some of his target numbers."
