The 49ers are 1.5-point home favorites against the division rival Rams, meaning this game is essentially a toss-up and projects as a close game. We want to build smart, correlated lineups and 4-1 lineups in favor of one team are not as important in this matchup as they are in other spots.

Matthew Stafford - Captain/Flex
The Rams rank fourth in Early Down Pass Frequency (EDPF), and Matthew Stafford ranks second in Completion Percentage Over Expected (CPOE). The beginning of the season hasn't lived up to expectations for this Rams offense but there are still signs of promise. If Stafford is going to get on track this week, he'll have to do it against a tough 49ers defense that ranks third in Overall DVOA and fifth in Pass DVOA.
