The appeal of playing dynasty fantasy football is that you never fully stop building your rosters. There is always time to make moves to either help build a contender or rebuild your struggling roster. Now that the 2022 class has come and gone, it's time to start looking ahead to the 2023 class. This season, we will provide fantasy managers with a top-36 big board that will be updated weekly to reflect the top 36 draft-eligible players in college football. The hope is that this big board will give you actual names and value to any draft picks you are trying to trade or acquire.
Standout Performances
RB Israel Abanikanda (Jr – Pittsburgh): 5-foot-11, 215 lbs
After a rough start to begin the year, Abanikanda has been one of the best running backs in college football. He has rushed for 479 yards and six touchdowns this season and is making a case to be a day two back in the 2023 NFL draft. Abanikanda had over 150 yards and four touchdowns against Rhode Island and showcased all of his talents on Saturday.
RB Kendre Miller (Jr – TCU): 6-foot-0, 220 lbs
When Zach Evans transferred to Ole Miss this offseason, it left the door wide open for Miller at TCU. While stepping in for Evans last season, Miller finished the year with 623 yards and seven touchdowns and looked like a legitimate running back in the Big 12. After a slow start in TCU’s first two games, Miller broke out against SMU. He rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown against the Mustangs. He is a powerful runner and exhibits fairly good speed in the open field. If he can improve his pass-catching this season, he will be an intriguing prospect heading into the draft.
WR Jacob Cowing (Jr – Arizona): 5-foot-11, 175 lbs
Cowing has continued to impress this season for the Wildcats. The UTEP transfer has shown that he belongs in the Power 5 and has 28 receptions for 386 yards and six touchdowns through four games. He has scored in every game he has played this season and is one of the best weapons in the Pac-12.
RB Zach Charbonnet (Sr - UCLA): 6-foot-1, 220 lbs
Charbonnet should have come out after last season but didn’t get the draft grade he expected which made him go back for his senior season. He hasn’t disappointed this season, rushing for 293 yards and four touchdowns. Against Colorado Saturday, he rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns and looked the best he has all season. Charbonnet has exceptional lateral agility in the open field and is one of the best downhill runners in college.
