Best Ball: DRAFT ADP Risers and Fallers

James Brimacombe's Best Ball: DRAFT ADP Risers and Fallers James Brimacombe Published 07/10/2019

Tracking ADP Risers and Fallers is one way we can try to stay ahead of the field in Best Ball this offseason as we will have a better handle on ADP and where to find values as the news comes in. I will continue this process throughout the NFL offseason to help us in our Best Ball drafting leading up to the start of the season. In this report we can compare players ADP from June 26th to July 10th.

The process in coming up with ADP Risers and Fallers is rather simple as in this example below I took ADP numbers from DRAFT on 6/26 and 7/10 and found the difference either +/-. The players who scored a lower ADP on 7/10 would be in the Risers category and the players who scored a higher ADP on 7/10 compared to 6/26 would be in the Fallers category.

If drafting on the DRAFT app feel free to use this updated cheat sheet for both 10-man and 12-man drafts.

Feel free to reach out to me on Twitter with any questions. Happy Drafting!

Top 10 ADP Risers

1. Donte Moncrief PIT WR48 +22.4 ADP -- Moncrief is receiving his share of strong offseason reports over the past few weeks as most are predicting him for the WR2 role in the Pittsburgh offense. He is now a 10th round pick at ADP and is up nearly two rounds over the past couple of weeks.

2. Giovani Bernard CIN RB60 +18.4 ADP -- Bernard's name is also hitting the news cycles and that has drove his ADP up by a round and a half. Bernard looks like the clear RB2 in Cincinnati and also offers some pass catching upside.

3. Chase Edmonds ARI RB57 +17.9 ADP -- Edmonds looks to be in one of the best handcuff RB spots in the entire league and he can also offers some stand alone value with potential spike weeks along the way.

4. Mark Andrews BAL TE14 +17.4 ADP -- With John Brown now out of town and Lamar Jackson as the clear starting quarterback in Baltimore looking down the depth chart for pass catchers and it is Andrews as the only true player that has much value. Andrews finished as TE16 in his rookie season posting a 34/552/3 line over 16 games. He is one of the better late TE upside options but now his price is increasing as others are catching on.

5. Josh Gordon NE WR71 +13.2 ADP -- Lots of reports of Gordon and Brady doing offseason workouts together along with speculation that Gordon will play this year for the Patriots. If you want to take a late round shot on Gordon it could pay off but the chance of him putting up a zero for the entire season is also a strong possibility.

6. Alexander Mattison MIN RB53 +11.8 ADP -- A rookie handcuff RB behind Dalvin Cook who has an injury history to start his career has Mattison's ADP on the rise. The late round RB selections are pretty thin and getting Mattison as your RB5 or RB6 in Best Ball might be worth the price.

7. Marquez Valdes-Scantling GB WR41 +11.4 ADP -- Valdes-Scantling has been picking up steam as one of the big offseason sleepers at the wide receiver position. The Packers have a history of strong passing game numbers with Aaron Rodgers under center and that Green Bay WR2 role is up for grabs and remains very valuable.

8. Jalen Richard OAK RB65 +9.8 ADP -- Richard looks to be a lock to be playing side by side with Josh Jacobs in the Raiders backfield this season. He has only averaged 25 snaps per game in 2018 but he turned that into 10 weeks with at least 8.4 fantasy points and finished as the RB41. If you are looking for a built in floor type of running back late in the draft it is hard to find a better option.

9. Trey Quinn WAS WR77 +8.4 ADP -- Quinn is getting love from somewhere but he remains an 18th round/undrafted player at the moment but has a rise in ADP as he is up 8 spots.

10. DOnta Foreman HOU RB42 +6.8 ADP -- The Texans are fully committed to Lamar Miller heading into the season and it also looks as though they feel the same about DOnta Foreman. Foreman suffered an Achilles tear back in 2017 and has only appeared in a single game since which was last year in Week 16. The Texans must have a believe that Foreman can contribute this year and the slight rise in ADP also has the public believing in him.
