A lot has changed since the January mock draft. Between players returning to school, athletic testing, and early draft buzz, the board in this dynasty rookie mock draft has moved around. Jeff and I went head-to-head one last time before the draft starts to give you a look at what pre-draft rookie drafts could look like, and give another tool in addition to the rookie guide to help you dominate your drafts. Let's get ready to rumble.

Dynasty Rookie Mock

Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft Picks and Comments

1.01 - Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

No changes at the top. It would surprise folks if Love falls out of the top ten of the real NFL draft, and top ten draft capital for a running back in a class like this is a one-way ticket to the 1.01.

1.02 - Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

In superflex leagues, quarterbacks are gold, and Mendoza is the overwhelming favorite to go number one in the NFL draft. He's a cerebral pocket passer who will get every opportunity to play in the league for years to come.

1.03 - Makai Lemon, WR, USC

There's no wrong answer among the top three wide receivers. The tier dropoff after the top three doesn't appear as steep as it did in January, but these are still the top targets. Lemon could easily profile as a 100+ target earner out of the gates, and he's more powerful after the catch than he gets credit for.

1.04 - Carnell Tate, WR, OSU

There is buzz that Tate could come off the board as early as the top five in the real draft. If that happens, he'll likely be the 1.03. We preach not to scout the helmet, but Tate has been the steady veteran among the Ohio State wide receivers while playing alongside some of the most talented recruits in the nation. The level up to the NFL should be smooth.

1.05 - Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

Tyson's draft range is all over the place. At Mock Draft Database, he's falling slightly in mock drafts, but should still be in the first round. Falling in the draft due to injury concerns might work in Tyson's favor; maybe he'll end up in a better offense as a result.

1.06 - KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

Kevin "KC" Concepcion is a smooth separator who has struggled with drops. Jeff said in January to watch his pre-draft process, and it's been a roller coaster. He had surgery on his knee, but then it was deemed "routine". He didn't run at the Combine, but was electric in the position drills. Concepcion is a popular pick in the back half of the first round in NFL mock drafts, and that bumps him to the mid-first in this dynasty rookie mock.
