Spoiler alert: A steep bell curve.

Jets, Team Vibes

  • Good - 2 votes
  • Neutral - 12 votes
  • Bad - 2 votes

Staffers with Good Vibes

  • Tipp Major: I am most excited about the run game on offense. For the past couple of seasons, it has been nonexistent, but that will change with Tanner Engstrand. He brings a balanced-aggressive approach that he adapted from Detroit while working with Ben Johnson.
  • Phil Alexander: Narrow, but good. Only Justin Fields, Garrett Wilson, and the running backs are worth drafting in most leagues.

Staffers with Neutral Vibes

  • Jason Wood: Jets fans have reason for excitement given the major offseason revamp, but head coach Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand are unproven in their new roles, and the team has a transitional quarterback who has already lost his hold on starting roles for two other franchises.
  • Maurile Tremblay: Fields' rushing and young bookend first-round tackles raise the floor, but a brand-new staff and no proven pass-catcher beyond Wilson cap the upside.
  • Kyle Bellefeuil: The Jets' new coaching staff and Justin Fields bring renewed optimism, but questions still loom about how effective the passing attack will be.
  • Ben Cummins: The offense will be in the bottom third of the league, but Justin Fields still makes it exciting for fantasy.
  • Jeff Haseley: Middle of the road seems about right for this team.
  • Andy Hicks: Blow the team up. New head coach. New quarterback. Welcome to the Jets. Let's see if this combination can give the team some hope.
  • David Zacharias: The abundance of new coaching and player puzzle pieces will need time to fit together.
  • Julia Papworth: Aaron Rodgers is out of town, and Aaron Glenn, fresh off his stint as DC in Detroit, is in as Head Coach. With Justin Fields under center, we can assume a run-heavy offense, involving multiple RBs, as well as Fields. At some point, if you throw enough at the wall, something will stick. Right?
  • Colton Dodgson: I'm relatively optimistic about this situation. I think Tanner Engstrand implements an exciting system around these pieces. I can't say vibes are good. However, they've certainly been worse for the Jets.
  • Jeff Blaylock: Surely this blow-it-up-and-start-over attempt is going to work, right?
  • Craig Lakins: Justin Fields will put up strong fantasy points, but can he support Garrett Wilson? The running game will benefit from the defense accounting for Fields.
  • Jeff Bell: A "Super Bowl contender" endured a tumultuous 2024 and now resets with a new coaching staff and quarterback.

Staffers with Bad Vibes

  • Meng Song: It's clear to Jets fans and fantasy players alike that this is a bottom-of-the-barrel rudderless team without much to be excited about.
  • Tripp Brebner: Ownership can't seem to stop shooting this franchise in the foot, and they can't find an arm capable of carrying the offense.
