Reasons TE Juwan Johnson Could Be a Sleeper
- Ben Cummins: He signed a 3-year $30.75 million contract extension this offseason. A former wide receiver in college, he’ll benefit from consistent negative game scripts.
- Maurile Tremblay: Often going undrafted, Moore's tight-end-friendly play-action could funnel red-zone targets his way for free.
- David Zacharias: A three-year $30 million deal, seasoned with two coaches known for heavy tight-end usage, may be a recipe for mid-TE2 production.
- Craig Lakins: He's someone I could see rookie quarterback Tyler Shough latching onto. They were college teammates at Oregon, so there's some familiarity built in.
- Colton Dodgson: With the scarcity at tight end, there’s a window for upward movement. Johnson led the Saints in tight end targets last year. The position will be involved in Moore’s passing attack.
