Reasons WR Jakobi Meyers Could Be a Sleeper
- Maurile Tremblay: His reliable slot volume and potential red-zone rapport with Smith give cheap WR3 upside.
- Meng Song: A perennially unexciting option, Meyers is a fine weekly WR3 or flex option in PPR formats with some upside given the lack of wide receiver talent in Vegas.
- Hutchinson Brown: People like Jack Bech, but he has reportedly been struggling to get first-team reps thus far in offseason activities. Meyers still appears to be the guy behind Brock Bowers.
- Jeff Haseley: Meyer's production should exceed his draft position. Brock Bowers may be the top target overall, but Meyers will be utilized. Buy the discount.
- Julia Papworth: Never sexy, yet always dependable, Meyers has finished the last two seasons as WR24, which would equal a solid return on investment this season.
- Colton Dodgson: He should be the second option in the passing game and remain involved in the red zone. It's a new offense, but Meyers will play a role.
- Jeff Blaylock: Had he scored a few more touchdowns, he would be in the WR2 conversation. His 1,027 yards ranked 17th among wide receivers, and now he has a quarterback who's averaged 4,075 passing yards over the past three seasons.
- Craig Lakins: While the Raiders have promising rookie wideouts, the veteran Meyers should win the favor of Geno Smith as the primary target not named "Brock Bowers."
