Reasons RB Roschon Johnson Could Be a Sleeper
- Meng Song: Johnson projects as the 1B in a committee backfield behind an improved Bears offensive line. It's not out of the question that he could even be the 1A.
- Julia Papworth: I know the chatter has been strong with Kyle Monongai, but I still see Johnson as the counterpart to D'Andre Swift in Ben Johnson's offense.
- David Zacharias: OC Ben Johnson favors RB by committee. Roschon Johnson is the 1B, gets the goal line work, and can be drafted 10 rounds later than DeAndre Swift.
- Ben Cummins: He's 225 pounds, had 198 fewer carries than D'Andre Swift last season, and still finished with the same amount of rush touchdowns (6).
- Jeff Blaylock: He was the better back inside the 5-yard line last year. When last in a Ben Johnson offense, D'Andre Swift had four carries inside the five while Jamaal Williams led the league with 33 and scored 14 touchdowns. Johnson will get the high-value carries.
