Every season, despite the multitude of practices and reporting, there are always situations that remain murky. Still, it's August, and everyone has either already started drafting or will be very soon.

Footballguys, of course, has official projections and staff rankings. However, it can be beneficial to delve into these unclear situations in more detail.

To that end, we've asked our staff to focus on five teams:

While neither Daniel Jones nor Anthony Richardson Sr. has fantasy managers excited, we all understand that the outlook for the receivers changes markedly depending on who wins the job. Jones is unlikely to produce a lot of passing touchdowns, but he would have more volume on a per-game basis than Richardson, presumably. What are your thoughts on these quarterbacks and the Colts' pass-catchers, most notably Tyler Warren, Michael Pittman Jr, Josh Downs, and Alec Pierce

The Quarterback Battle

Jeff Haseley: Indianapolis needs to see if Anthony Richardson Sr. is their future. He needs to continue to develop, but is he good enough to keep the team afloat in the process? I believe Richardson will have every chance to earn and keep the starting role, but if he falters, Jones is there to fill the void.

Meng Song: The best play is probably still Anthony Richardson Sr.. He's still a weekly top-five fantasy quarterback when starting and healthy, is practically free at ADP, and is an easy drop if he gets benched or injured again.

Bob Harris: If Anthony Richardson Sr. follows a successful August with strong play in the regular season, he can still make the Colts look smart for their big investment in his raw talent. And if he beats out Daniel Jones for the starting job, the same talents and upside that made him so interesting as a rookie and heading into last season still exist. Size, speed, athleticism, and a big arm. If he ever puts it all together, there's top-5 upside at the position every time he steps onto the field.

Andy Hicks: Pure and simple, Anthony Richardson Sr. has to win the starting job. Daniel Jones picks up the pieces if Richardson gets injured or shows no development.
