League sources tell Footballguys Senior Writer Cecil Lammey that four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski would like to make an NFL return.

Gronkowski is training at high altitude in Vail, Colorado, in order to make a return to the NFL. Lammey reports that league sources have also told him Gronkowski likes what he's seen from Denver quarterback Bo Nix. Gronkowski also has a relationship with Broncos coach Sean Payton from their time working together at FOX Sports.

This is a strong rookie class at tight end, and Lammey will be reporting on them from the Combine in Indianapolis. But for teams looking to add a veteran, the word is that Gronkowski plans to make himself available. The question, of course, is whether teams have an interest.
