2025 NFL Draft Prospect: RB Quinshon Judkins, Ohio State

Quinshon Judkins' Scouting Report

Quinshon Judkins is an all-around solid athlete and was a reliable running back for Ohio State. He showcases good hands and a smooth transition in the receiving game, making him a versatile option on all three downs. While his top-end speed isn’t elite, his acceleration through the line of scrimmage is impressive, highlighted by his 41 touchdowns over three seasons.

Judkins is a patient runner who trusts his blockers and consistently churns out positive plays, even if he’s more of a grinder than a creative playmaker. Judkins has exceptional contact balance. He prefers to run through defenders rather than avoid them, though his lack of lateral movement and one-speed style limits his ability to make defenders miss. Judkins’ improved pass-blocking makes him an ideal candidate to be a three-down back in the NFL.

Ideal Scheme Fit

Judkins’ versatility in run schemes and ability to play all three downs makes him a good fit for any team. However, he’ll be best in an inside zone or gap scheme that allows him to pick up chunk yardage in the middle of the defense.

The Fantasy Football Rundown

Quinshon Judkins is a workhorse-sized 1B back from Ohio State with excellent contact balance and power. He won’t be a blazer, but elite pass blocking can set him up for three-down work.
