Reasons WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba Could Be a Bust
- Maurile Tremblay: ADP demands elite volume, but Darnold's middling passing and Kupp siphoning targets make that ceiling unlikely.
- David Zacharias: The arrivals of slot-competitor Cooper Kupp, run-first OC Klint Kubiak, and inconsistent quarterback Sam Darnold temper Smith-Njigba's top-15 expectations.
- Jeff Blaylock: Question marks abound in Seattle's new-look offense, and even someone as undeniably talented as Smith-Njigba could take a step backward as a result.
- Julia Papworth: With the loss of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, it is Smith-Njigba's wide receiver room to lose, and the fantasy community knows it, pushing up his ADP. If he doesn't beat his ADP with his fantasy finish, it will be a big letdown.
- Jeff Haseley: I have a feeling that with the increased rushing attack in Klint Kubiak's offense, the passing game will take a step back. Adding Cooper Kupp to the mix also doesn't help Smith-Njigba's outlook.
