Busts on the Jacksonville Jaguars

Reasons WR Travis Hunter Could Be a Bust
- Maurile Tremblay: ADP assumes full-time targets, yet his planned two-way role and rookie volatility leave plenty of bust risk.
- Meng Song: Even a few defensive snaps per game add fatigue/injury risk, and his ADP doesn't properly account for splitting targets with Dyami Brown behind Brian Thomas.
- David Zacharias: Hunter is the new toy in town, but having to step up his game to the pro level in a two-way role presents a risk to his WR3 ranking.
- Andy Hicks: Expectations are way too high for the talented rookie. With equally demanding expectations at cornerback, Hunter will not play full time at both positions. Let him learn.
- Jeff Haseley: He could be amazing, but he also has Brian Thomas Jr. ahead of him on the depth chart. Unless you get points for defensive plays, I fear he is being overdrafted.
- Julia Papworth: The talent is incredible, but with questions on usage, I can't take a shot at the current ADP. If Hunter drops a little before the season, his upside is worth a shot, but I just don't see that happening.
Reasons RB Bhayshul Tuten Could Be a Bust
- Jason Wood: Why is he coming off the board before Travis Etienne and always going ahead of Tank Bigsby? I wouldn't be surprised if he's effectively a special-teams player this season, barring injuries to the veteran tailbacks.
- Hutchinson Brown: He's already close to being the first Jaguars running back drafted in most redraft leagues. I find that very aggressive for a day-three rookie running back, who historically have very low success rates.
- Jeff Blaylock: He's got potential upside in a lackluster RB room, but he must improve his blocking and ball security to get on, let alone stay on, the field.
- Phil Alexander: Love the prospect, but the crowded backfield makes it hard to see him playing as much as his ADP suggests.
Reasons RB Travis Etienne Jr. Could Be a Bust
- Ben Cummins: The pass-catching argument is there, but drafters are too bullish on a player in a crowded backfield coming off a down year.
- Mauricio Gutierrez: How long will the team stay patient if last season's issues resurface? Bhayshul Tuten still needs to improve in pass protection, but he could carve out a bigger role as the year goes on.
- Colton Dodgson: His efficiency as a runner hasn't developed. He'll need receiving volume to be relevant. He might not get it in a room this crowded.
Reasons LB Devin Lloyd Could Be a Bust
- Kyle Bellefeuil: How big of a snap share the LB2 role gets in the Jaguars' new defensive coordinator, Anthony Campanile's scheme, gives some pause to Lloyd's outlook.
- Tripp Brebner: The linebacker with a career passer rating allowed of 101.3 had his fifth-year option declined. His ADP ignores the possibility that new coaches might pull him for dime subpackages.

- Craig Lakins: The Jaguars have three running backs being selected within a three-round span. Most of the offseason buzz has been around Travis Etienne Jr. or Bhayshul Tuten.
