Reasons RB Joe Mixon Could Be a Bust
- Hutchinson Brown: After the horrendous finish we saw last year, combined with Mixon's expiring age and career workload, I have a hard time clicking his name in fantasy drafts.
- Meng Song: Eleven touchdowns on 29 inside-the-10 carries masked an otherwise lackluster 2024 season, and Chubb could vulture some of those.
- David Zacharias: The 29-year-old's workhorse role is threatened by a healthy Nick Chubb and 4th-round rookie Woody Marks.
- Julia Papworth: That Houston offensive line could be even worse this season with the loss of several key pieces, and I worry that Mixon might have too much tread on the tires. That Nick Chubb will vulture some goal-line touchdowns, too.
- Colton Dodgson: From Weeks 12-18, Mixon was the RB29. He averaged 8.5 half-PPR points per game. He's now sharing a backfield with Nick Chubb and fourth-round rookie Woody Marks.
