DEN @ LAC

  • Audric Estime looked good on his carries and scored, but the Broncos didn't stick with the run. He's a what-the-heck flex against the Bengals next week.
  • Javonte Williams has some PPR value in deep leagues if Jaleel McLaughlin is out again in Week 17.
  • Bo Nix was an efficient passer, but he missed Marvin Mims Jr. for an easy, long touchdown. Nix could have to pass more to keep up with Joe Burrow next week, so he's a possible streamer. Mims is a high ceiling what-the-heck flex.
  • Justin Herbert carried the Chargers offense and will be a good Week 17 streamer if the weather cooperates in Foxboro.
  • Gus Edwards scored twice and had a long run late in the game, but is still just a desperation play in Week 17.

HOU @ KC

  • Tank Dell left with a dislocated knee cap and torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. CJ Stroud isn't a preferred streamer for Week 17.
  • Joe Mixon was held in check. He's still startable in Week 17 but more of an RB2 than an RB1 for fantasy after peaking earlier in the season.
  • Dalton Schultz caught five balls and scored for the second time in the last three games. He's a streamer for Week 17 with Dell out.
  • Patrick Mahomes II showed no ill effects from his ankle injury and actually scored as a runner. He's a QB1 for Week 17 with the Chiefs able to clinch the #1 seed with a win.
  • Xavier Worthy had a strong game playing through a leg injury that briefly sidelined him. We'll monitor practice reports with the Chiefs playing on Christmas at Pittsburgh.
  • Marquise Brown returned and got the second-highest target total with eight. He's a what-the-heck flex on Christmas and maybe more if Worthy can't play.
  • Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins will get limited targets if Brown and Worthy both play on Christmas. Neither is a strong Week 17 play in an all-hands-on-deck Chiefs passing game.

PIT @ BAL

  • Jaylen Warren had a bigger role than Najee Harris for the third straight week. Harris is more desperation play than a flex option in Week 17. Warren has some flex appeal
  • Pat Freiermuth slowed down for fantasy with only three short-range targets. He's not a preferred Week 17 streamer.
  • Derrick Henry was rolling against the Steelers defense and broke out of his fantasy mini-slump.
  • Justice Hill left with a concussion and will almost certainly miss Week 17.
  • Rashod Bateman was able to play through a foot injury that had him questionable but only caught one ball. It was a touchdown, but he's not a preferred flex in Week 17.

NYG @ ATL

  • Drew Lock was terrible and responsible for more Atlanta defensive scores than Giants offensive scores. He also got hurt and may not play in Week 17.
  • Tyrone Tracy Jr. had a skillful touchdown catch in the back of the end zone to renew hopes for him as a what-the-heck flex in Week 17.
  • Malik Nabers didn't make any big plays but caught enough balls to remain in consideration as a WR3/Flex play in PPR leagues for Week 17, no matter who starts at quarterback.
  • Michael Penix Jr. was good in his debut. His only interception was a drop by Kyle Pitts, and the Falcons didn't need to be aggressive in the passing game against the Giants. He's a possible streamer for Week 17 against a better opponent in Washington.
  • Drake London suffered a hamstring injury in the game. All indications are he'll be okay for Week 17, but we'll be watching the practice reports. Darnell Mooney is a good play as at least a WR3/Flex, whether London is good to go or not after a bounce-back game with Penix at the helm.

DET @ CHI

  • Jared Goff was great despite playing outdoors in the cold. He's a safe high-floor QB1 for Week 17 at San Francisco.
  • Jahmyr Gibbs was a workhorse back with David Montgomery out and will be the #1 running back in Week 17 rankings.
  • Jameson Williams scored from 82 yards and was involved enough in the offense otherwise to still be a good Week 16 play without the big play. He's a must-play in Week 17.
  • Sam LaPorta caught a touchdown on a trick play when the Lions choreographed a fake fumble. LaPorta is back to being a solid fantasy TE1 for the fantasy championship.
  • Tim Patrick didn't catch a touchdown or even a pass in Week 16. He's droppable after being a successful what-the-heck flex for two weeks.
  • Caleb Williams had a good fantasy game against the Lions once they opened up a big lead, but didn't make the game close in the second half like he did on Thanksgiving. He's a possible QB1 on Thursday against the Seahawks.
  • D'Andre Swift was quiet with the Bears trailing for most of the game. He's only a flex play for Week 17.
  • Keenan Allen had another high-ceiling game and should be in Week 17 lineups, along with DJ Moore, who is a high-floor WR3/Flex. Rome Odunze had a good enough game to be considered a what-the-heck flex if the weather cooperates on Thursday.

ARI @ CAR

  • Kyler Murray scored as a runner to put up a decent fantasy day but wasn't that effective as a passer. He's a boom/bust QB1 for Week 17 with the Cardinals eliminated from contention, but the running game being hobbled by the loss of James Conner.
  • Conner left with a knee injury and didn't return to the game. The Cardinals should be conservative with putting him back out there after signing Conner to an extension during the season.
  • Marvin Harrison Jr. was lackluster but is still worth a WR3/Flex look in Week 17 against the Rams, who he broke out against in Week 2.
  • Trey McBride had his worst fantasy game of the season, but he did draw a pass interference in the end zone. Too bad the Cardinals went to Deejay Dallas for the touchdown on the next play. McBride should still be in Week 17 lineups.
  • Bryce Young was very productive as a scrambler and should be in streaming QB1 considerations for Week 17 in a potential shootout with Baker Mayfield and the Bucs.
  • Chuba Hubbard was a workhorse and got stronger in overtime, which he ended with a walk-off touchdown. He's a high-ceiling RB2 against the Bucs.
  • Adam Thielen scored and was a solid play despite the Panthers being limited to short passing in the overtime win. Keep Thielen in as a WR3/Flex in Week 17.

LAR @ NYJ

  • Kyren Williams again powered the Rams offense as the passing game was very conservative. Matthew Stafford is not a suitable streamer in Week 17.
  • Puka Nacua was the only productive member of the Rams passing game, and it was only on a plethora of short-range targets. Cooper Kupp is just a what-the-heck flex against Arizona coming into Week 17 ice cold.
  • Aaron Rodgers fed Davante Adams in the short passing game, but he suffered an ankle injury and might not play in Week 17. If Tyrod Taylor gets the start in Buffalo, Adams and Wilson fall down to the WR3/Flex level.
  • Breece Hall was back to being a lead back but was only a modest producer and low-end RB2 on the week. Putting him on the bench in Week 17 will be tough because of his previous demonstrated upside.

PHI @ WAS

  • Jalen Hurts left with a concussion. We'll watch to see if he clears protocol to play in Week 17 against Dallas.
  • Kenny Pickett almost exclusively targeted A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. If Pickett starts in Week 17, they'll still be solid plays.
  • Jayden Daniels threw five touchdown passes, including one in the waning seconds that allowed the Commanders to overcome five turnovers to win.
  • Brian Robinson Jr lost two fumbles and was a bust. He's still a viable RB2 against the Falcons, but there's more risk with him coming in off such a disappointing game.
  • Olamide Zaccheaus scored twice and got the second-most snaps of the wide receiver group. He's a what-the-heck flex for Week 17.

CLE @ CIN

  • Dorian Thompson-Robinson was terrible but competent enough to get the ball to David Njoku and Jerome Ford in the short passing game. Jerry Jeudy wasn't as lucky. Thompson-Robinson hurt his calf during the game, so it's not clear if he, Bailey Zappe (who was the backup), or Jameis Winston will start against Miami in Week 17. Njoku suffered a knee injury, so his Week 17 status is also uncertain.
  • Jerome Ford broke a 66-yard score to open the game, but D'Onta Foreman fumbled at the goal line. Ford got the goal line opportunity the next time the Browns got deep in Bengals territory and converted. He's a solid RB2 play, no matter who starts at quarterback in Week 17.
  • Joe Burrow was good, not great, but a long touchdown to Ja'Marr Chase on a free play with the game in hand late in the fourth quarter lifted his and Chase's scoring level to expectations for Week 16.
  • Chase Brown was also good but didn't score, so he was just an RB2 play. That a 100+ total yard game is disappointing for Brown shows how far he has come in the second half of the season.

TEN @ IND

  • Mason Rudolph started 8 for 8, cooled off as the Colts built a 38-7 lead, and then rang up more numbers in garbage time to be viable in 2QB/Superflex leagues. He'll be on the radar in that format for Week 17 against Jacksonville.
  • Tyjae Spears out-snapped Tony Pollard for the second straight week and got both short-yardage touchdowns. He's the flex play out of this backfield over Pollard for Week 17.
  • Calvin Ridley scored and got targeted enough downfield to be a WR3/Flex play for Week 16. Keep him in Week 17 lineups unless you are stocked at the position.
  • Rudolph targeted Chig Okonkwo heavily for the second straight week. He's a solid high-floor TE1 and has graduated from streamer with consecutive good games.
  • Anthony Richardson was a strong play and could have been an elite play if one of his two rushing touchdowns wasn't wiped off the board by a questionable replay overturn. He's a high-ceiling QB1 against the Giants in Week 17.
  • Jonathan Taylor ripped off two scores from 60+ yards and got a third after the dubious reversal of Richardson's score. He's on fire heading into Week 17.
  • Josh Downs scored to come through as a what-the-heck flex despite the Colts only throwing the ball 13 times. He'll be a what-the-heck flex again in Week 17.

MIN @ SEA

  • Sam Darnold had a strong game and strengthened his status as a high-floor QB1 heading into a matchup with the Packers.
  • Justin Jefferson had a massive game for the second time in two weeks and is poised to get his fantasy teams over the top in the finals after an underwhelming regular season.
  • TJ Hockenson hasn't gotten over the hump as a fantasy threat and had his worst fantasy output since Week 11. He's only a what-the-heck tight end play in the finals.
  • Geno Smith had his best passing day since Week 9 and should be in streaming QB1 consideration against the hibernating Bears defense in Week 17.
  • DK Metcalf scored and was a solid WR3/Flex play, but didn't get the squeaky-wheel treatment and is only at that level for Week 17 in Chicago.
  • Ken Walker III was back to being the lead back despite Zach Charbonnet being announced as the starter, but then Walker suffered an ankle injury. We could be back to Charbonnet as the lead back and a solid RB2 play in Week 17 with a short week of rest before the game.

NE @ BUF

  • Drake Maye had a solid game in the cold, including more downfield passing. He's a streaming QB1 against the Chargers in Week 17.
  • Rhamondre Stevenson came through as a flex play but was also part of two miscues. He remains a mere flex play, but the Patriots offense is improving and brightening his outlook as a flex play.
  • Kayshon Boutte was effective as a downfield receiving option and could be available on your waiver wire as a what-the-heck flex for Week 17.
  • Josh Allen was quiet and suffered an elbow injury. The Bills will be out of the #1 seed race if the Chiefs win on Thanksgiving and could ease up on Allen in Week 17. Have a good backup plan for Week 17 if you rely on Allen.
  • James Cook scored from distance again and caught Allen's only touchdown pass. He's a borderline RB1 for Week 17 against the Jets.
  • Khalil Shakir underperformed with the rest of the passing game. He's not an automatic play for Week 17. We'll be watching Allen's practice status to help inform what to do with Shakir against the Jets.

JAX @ LV

  • Mac Jones fed Brian Thomas Jr. to create massive results for fantasy teams for the second straight week. Jones is QB2/Superflex candidate, and Thomas is an elite WR1 for Week 17.
  • Tank Bigsby got the score and was the better flex play in the Jaguars backfield even though Travis Etienne Jr. was still on the field for the majority of the game. Both are what-the-heck flex plays against the hapless Titans.
  • Brenton Strange fumbled and was marginalized in the offense. He's droppable and not a suitable streamer for Week 17.
  • Parker Washington picked up the slack left by Strange's demotion with six catches and should be on the waiver wire if you need a WR3/Flex play in deep PPR leagues.
  • Aidan O'Connell fed Brock Bowers and put Bowers back on track to break records and elevate fantasy teams to championships.
  • Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah split the backfield almost equally, and both were RB2 level plays with touchdowns and heavy involvement in the conservative passing game. Both are flex plays for Week 17 against the Saints.
  • Jakobi Meyers took a step back for fantasy with O'Connell in, and he's only a what-the-heck flex without momentum going into the matchup with New Orleans.

SF @ MIA

  • Patrick Taylor Jr. was a dud in place of Isaac Guerendo and is more desperation play than what-the-heck flex if Guerendo is out for Week 17.
  • Brock Purdy was uneven at times, but he shouldered most of the offense to put up a solid QB1 game and keep himself in starting consideration for the fantasy championship with a promising matchup against the Lions.
  • De'Von Achane was a week winner and the main cog of the Dolphins offense, with the team sticking to the short passing game. He's trending up heading into a Week 17 matchup against the Browns in the cold.
  • Tyreek Hill only caught three balls and isn't going to return to pre-2024 form. He's only a WR3/Flex for Week 17 getting no boost from Jaylen Waddle's absence. With Hill quiet, Tua Tagovailoa is also out of streaming QB1 consideration.

TB @ DAL

  • Baker Mayfield almost led his team back from a deficit to maintain the division lead, but Rachaad White fumbled in the last minutes of the fourth quarter. Mayfield had his usual good fantasy game, but there was a chance for more if White had held onto the ball.
  • Jalen McMillan scored again and should be a clear WR3/Flex play against the Panthers in Week 17.
  • CeeDee Lamb aggravated his shoulder injury and was mostly a decoy in the second half. You can't bench him in Week 17, but lower expectations.
  • Jake Ferguson caught six balls and could be a viable PPR TE1 in Week 17 if Lamb isn't getting his usual target share.
  • Rico Dowdle was held in check as the Tampa run defense is getting strong again. They'll face Chuba Hubbard in Week 17, while Dowdle will face the Eagles defense that just put the clamps on Brian Robinson Jr. Dowdle isn't an automatic play in Week 17.

NO @ GB

  • Spencer Rattler and the Saints offense could not get out of the driveway in the cold. No one in the Saints pass offense is worth a play in Week 17, even in a 32-team league. The Raiders D/ST isn't a bad play if you can't get Indianapolis or Miami.
  • Kendre Miller didn't fare any better than the pass offense and is only a desperation play against the Raiders.
  • The Packers had such an easy time that the entire passing game greatly underperformed, with the exception of maybe Tucker Kraft. That won't be the case against the Vikings in Week 17, so play Jordan Love and his targets as you normally would, despite the poor result this week.
  • The Saints defense effort was about the same as the offense, so the Raiders running backs and Jakobi Meyers are in play for the fantasy finals.
