LAR @ SF
- This game was played in sloppy conditions, and both offenses were short-circuited all night.
- Cooper Kupp was held scoreless, but he should probably be in Week 16 lineups against the Jets if you survived the goose egg.
- Deebo Samuel Sr. still looked sluggish and not dangerous with the ball in his hands. He's not an automatic play in Week 16 at Miami.
- Isaac Guerendo looked good and got almost all of the work in the backfield. His foot injury is a non-issue, and he'll be a solid RB2 play at Miami.
WAS @ NO
- Jayden Daniels played well but could have had an even better day if the Commanders were better in the red zone or if he and Terry McLaurin could have connected on multiple deep opportunities. Daniels is a top 6-8 quarterback play in a tough matchup with the Eagles.
- McLaurin was massive, but he dropped one long touchdown, while Daniels was off on two other deep throws when he was open.
- Zach Ertz left with a concussion. He might not be available in Week 16 against his old Eagles team.
- Jake Haener was benched for Spencer Rattler, and Rattler almost led the Saints to a last-second comeback victory (with help from the scorekeeper). Rattler should start in the cold at Green Bay on Monday night.
- Alvin Kamara left with a groin injury, and he is getting more tests done on the injury. He's questionable at best for Week 16 and really for the rest of the season, with the Saints all but eliminated. Kendre Miller is the clear backup and a priority add behind only Jerome Ford this week.
- Foster Moreau caught the last-second touchdown to make the game come down to a two-point conversion to Juwan Johnson that glanced off his hands. Moreau is a viable desperation play against the Packers.
KC @ CLE
- Patrick Mahomes II left with an ankle sprain. The Chiefs play on Christmas right after their Saturday game against the Texans. Even if Mahomes plays in Week 16, his effectiveness will be limited, and he's not a viable QB1. Carson Wentz will start if Mahomes sits.
- One week after it looked like Isiah Pacheco was moving back to the top of the depth chart, the Chiefs split the work evenly between him and Kareem Hunt. There's not a good play in this backfield for Week 16.
- Xavier Worthy had a touchdown on a short pass to the flat the was ruled a lateral. He could be ok with Wentz because of Wentz's penchant for throwing deep. Consider Worthy an upside WR3/Flex play in Week 16.
- Noah Gray caught a touchdown and is probably as good a play as Travis Kelce with everyone back except Hollywood Brown, who could be back in the next week or two. As odd as it sounds, Kelce is not an automatic play for Week 16, whether Mahomes is in or not.
- Jameis Winston was benched for Dorian Thompson-Robinson after multiple bad interceptions. The team would not commit to him as the starter for Week 16. He can be dropped in 1QB leagues.
- Nick Chubb left with a broken foot. Jerome Ford had a 62-yard touchdown when he looked like the fastest player on the field, and he is the priority add of Week 16. Consider Ford an upside flex play at worst against the Bengals.
- Jerry Jeudy went over 1000 yards for the first time in his career but is only a what-the-heck flex if Winston sits in Week 16.
- David Njoku was inactive after not practicing but still being a game-time decision. He's a low-ceiling play in Week 16 if he's active and Winston sits. If you have Njoku, expect to start someone else at tight end in Week 16, but be open to playing him if he practices and isn't on the injury report.
CIN @ TEN
- Joe Burrow committed three turnovers but was still a strong play against a wilting Titans defense. Anthony Richardson will try to have a get-right game against them in Week 16, and Burrow will face a very beatable Browns pass defense.
- Tee Higgins had a strong game after a quiet Week 14. He's a high-ceiling WR2 play against the Browns.
- Will Levis was benched for Mason Rudolph. Rudolph was conservative but very efficient in relief. The team hasn't named a Week 16 starter, but if it's Rudolph, he's a viable QB2/Superflex play against the Colts.
- Rudolph peppered the tight ends with passes. Chig Okonkwo caught eight of them, and Josh Whyle caught five, including a touchdown. Both are viable desperation plays in Week 16 if Rudolph starts. There's some promise here after the Colts gave up two touchdowns to Broncos tight ends in Week 15.
- Tony Pollard scored but left the game with an ankle injury for a bit, and Tyjae Spears scored twice, including on an explosive run after the catch. This should be close to a 50-50 committee in snaps, and both are flex plays against the Colts.
MIA @ HOU
- Tua Tagovailoa was under pressure all day and ineffective passing downfield. He's not a viable streamer against the 49ers in Week 16 after coming into Week 15 producing as well as he has all year.
- Jaylen Waddle left with a knee injury after getting rolled up on while standing by a pile of players. He's uncertain for Week 16 and going forward. Don't hold on too tightly in the waiver wire run.
- Tyreek Hill still did little with Waddle out. He should be in Week 16 lineups, but the range of outcomes isn't exciting.
- Jonnu Smith was the #1 target yet again and should be a big part of why some teams got to Week 16.
- Nico Collins caught two short scores, but otherwise, C.J. Stroud and the passing game did not move the needle for fantasy. Tank Dell is only a what-the-heck flex for Week 16 against the Chiefs.
- Joe Mixon left briefly with a leg injury but returned to the game, and the team said he is fine. We'll be monitoring practice reports nonetheless with the Texans only able to move up one spot in the seeding at most after clinching the division.
BAL @ NYG
- Lamar Jackson was a passing maestro with five scores and is a reason a lot of teams got through to Week 16.
- Derrick Henry was quiet in part because the Giants were so far behind in the second half that third-stringer Rasheen Ali got a lot of work. Henry is still a must-play for Week 16 against the Steelers on Saturday.
- Rashod Bateman caught two scores and should be considered an upside what-the-heck flex play against Pittsburgh.
- Mark Andrews became the all-time Ravens touchdown leader and is still a solid TE1 for Week 16 after a slow start to the season.
- Tommy Devito was knocked out with a concussion. Tim Boyle actually seemed to improve Malik Nabers' prospects. Nabers is a high-floor WR2, no matter who starts against the Falcons.
- Tyrone Tracy Jr. lost some snaps and goal-line opportunities to Devin Singletary, who scored. Tracy is only a what-the-heck flex for Week 16.
NYJ @ JAX
- Aaron Rodgers was playing loose with his #1 target, Davante Adams, and the duo took over in the second half. Adams could be a league winner if this keeps up, and Rodgers is streamable against the Rams if the weather in New Jersey cooperates.
- Breece Hall scored the game-winning touchdown, which salvaged his fantasy day. He should be a flex play at worst in Week 16.
- Garrett Wilson scored early but appeared to be frustrated on the sidelines later. He should still be in Week 16 lineups.
- Mac Jones was playing even looser than Rodgers and might also be a viable streamer against the Raiders. He mostly fed Brian Thomas Jr., who has the look of a league winner, and Brenton Strange, who was the best PPR tight end streamer of Week 15 and a priority pickup for Week 16.
- The Jaguars flip-flopped their backfield again back to Travis Etienne Jr., but their fickle management means he's only a flex play against the Raiders. Tank Bigsby is closer to desperation play than what-the-heck flex.
DAL @ CAR
- Cooper Rush had the best game of his career and should be considered a possible QB2/Superflex against the Bucs in Week 16.
- CeeDee Lamb looks like himself again and had 4-70-1 on one drive alone. He could end up helping win titles after a disappointing fantasy regular season.
- Rico Dowdle continues to rack up rushing yards and should be in Week 16 lineups as an RB2. The Panthers are an excellent matchup for running backs right now, and James Conner will take aim at them in Week 16.
- Bryce Young had a couple of costly turnovers, or he would have been a good QB2/Superflex. A rushing score made him a decent play in that format, anyway. He's still in play as a QB2/Superflex against Arizona despite seeing his hot streak come to an end.
- Xavier Legette went out with a groin injury and could miss Week 16 and beyond. He can be dropped in redraft.
- Jalen Coker caught an 83-yard score and should be the priority wide receiver pickup this week. He's a what-the-heck flex against the Cardinals.
- Adam Thielen still caught five balls and should be in lineups as a WR3/Flex in PPR leagues and what-the-heck flex in .5 and nonPPR.
- Chuba Hubbard was quiet as the Panthers trailed in the second half and he wasn't involved much in the passing game after the first drive, but he's still at worst a flex against Arizona.
TB @ LAC
- Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans had a week-winning connection. Both are in top form heading into a Week 16 game against Dallas.
- Jalen McMillan scored for the second straight week and is the clear #2 target. He should be in Week 16 lineups as a WR3/Flex.
- Bucky Irving played, looked good, and went over 100 yards rushing. He's an RB2 for Week 16, and Rachaad White was also very good as a runner and scored as a receiver. He's a Week 16 flex.
- Justin Herbert struggled to move the offense consistently and isn't a QB1 against the Broncos on Thursday.
- Ladd McConkey was back. He scored and was the Chargers' most productive receiver. McConkey should be in lineups as a high-ceiling WR3/Flex on Thursday.
- Quentin Johnston scored, but he's just a what-the-heck flex in a tougher matchup in Week 16. Joshua Palmer faded into the background with McConkey back. He's only desperation depth and droppable in short bench leagues.
- Stone Smartt was one of the better downfield targets for Herbert. He's a suitable Week 16 tight end streamer if you can't get Brenton Strange.
IND @ DEN
- Anthony Richardson's play was actually as bad as the numbers this week. He's still a high-ceiling QB1 plan in a good matchup against the Titans, but the lack of sustained progress is troubling.
- Jonathan Taylor broke free for a long touchdown but dropped the ball before crossing the goal line. This game, and probably many fantasy games, turned on that play.
- Michael Pittman Jr was a decent PPR play, but he also had a costly fumble. He's probably a better play than Josh Downs if you dare trust a Colts pass-catcher in Week 16.
- The Broncos defense and special teams did as much or more to win this game than the offense. No one in the offense was a ceiling play. Only Courtland Sutton should be in Week 16 lineups from this offense.
NE @ ARI
- Drake Maye came through in garbage time to help 2QB/Superflex teams. He's still not a good play in the bitter cold of Buffalo this week.
- The Patriots offensive production is too spread out and too meager to trust anyone in Week 16 lineups, except maybe Rhamondre Stevenson as a flex.
- James Conner looks like he's going to play his best football of the season in December for the second straight year. He carried the offense and should do it again vs. a weak Panthers run defense in Week 16.
- Marvin Harrison Jr. was shut down by Christian Gonzalez. Harrison should be back in play in Week 16 against Carolina.
- Trey McBride had another good PPR game but still hasn't scored a touchdown yet this year.
BUF @ DET
- Josh Allen moved the Bills offense with ease all day. He's had a monumental two-game run in fantasy leagues but will play outdoors in the cold at home over the next two weeks to lower his ceiling.
- James Cook had two scores and was the most explosive player in the Bills offense. He made up for his Week 14 dud.
- The Lions couldn't cover Ty Johnson, and he went over 100 yards receiving as a part-time player. He's a PPR desperation play that could hit.
- Khalil Shakir had a touchdown on a shovel pass, which made him the only Bills wide receiver worth playing. Amari Cooper had a goose egg and can be dropped heading into Week 16.
- Dalton Kincaid didn't have a ceiling game, but he got open downfield and did enough to be considered as a TE1 if the weather isn't too bad and you don't have a reliable option.
- Jared Goff had a massive game in an attempt to keep up with Allen, but it wasn't enough. He's streamable in Week 16 at Chicago, but the cold outside setting gives him a lower floor.
- David Montgomery went down with a season-ending injury. Jahmyr Gibbs should be a workhorse and possible league winner with Montgomery out.
- Tim Patrick scored again and remains in play as a what-the-heck flex for Week 16.
- Sam LaPorta had his best catch and yardage game of the year and has some momentum going into Week 16. You can finally consider him the TE1 you drafted him to be this year.
PIT @ PHI
- The Steelers offense was like a turtle on its back against a good defense because it didn't have George Pickens. Only Pat Freiermuth is worth consideration against the Ravens if Pickens is still out on Saturday.
- A.J. Brown suffered a leg injury that needs to be monitored heading into the game against the Commanders. Devonta Smith was excellent and would be a WR1 play if Brown is out. Grant Calcaterra could be a streaming tight end choice if Brown is out.
- Saquon Barkley missed much of the second quarter with an undisclosed injury. We'll be watching his practice reports closely. Kenneth Gainwell is the clear backup and shouldn't be on any waiver wires.
- Jalen Hurts showed no ill effects from a broken finger on his left hand and shrugged off the choppy play that was a problem in Week 14. He's back to being an elite fantasy option against Washington.
GB @ SEA
- Jordan Love was outstanding, but the low pass volume is keeping his ceiling out of QB1 territory. He's not a QB1 consideration Monday night against New Orleans.
- Romeo Doubs caught two scores, but really there is no reliable play in this passing game. Even Tucker Kraft had his quietest game in months. Jayden Reed did enough as a runner to not be a bust, but he is still a risky play for Week 16.
- Geno Smith left the game with a knee injury but should be able to play in Week 16 against the
Vikings. - Zach Charbonnet had a score in a losing effort to avoid being a bust. He has a tough matchup if he's the starter in Week 16. We'll be watching to see if Ken Walker III can play and relegate Charbonnet back to #2 duties. If Walker is active, he's only a flex play.
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba has emerged as the clear #1 receiver and should be in lineups even if Smith can't play. DK Metcalf had a quiet game but is still a high-ceiling WR3/Flex as long as Smith can play.
CHI @ MIN
- Caleb Williams hooked up with Keenan Allen for a garbage time score in the highlight of the night for the Bears offense. You can't even project an above-average game for them against a depleted Lions defense this week. Allen is a what-the-heck flex, and DJ Moore is a WR3/Flex, thanks to increased involvement as a runner this week.
- D'Andre Swift looked like his normal self despite being questionable. He should be in lineups as an RB2 against the Lions.
- Sam Darnold didn't have a big fantasy game because the Vikings running backs scored twice. He's only a low-ceiling QB1 in a less-than-ideal matchup against Seattle.
- Jordan Addison didn't score this week, but he still got a ton of targets to put together a solid PPR game and also drew a long pass interference. He's still a must-play for Week 16.
- T.J. Hockenson had a solid game and should be in consideration as your Week 16 tight end with the Seahawks' strong corner play funneling passes to the middle of the field.
ATL @ LV
- Kirk Cousins looked as limited as he did early in the season and was not named the Week 16 starter when head coach Raheem Morris was asked. If Michael Penix Jr. starts, he could be a good streamer against the Giants.
- Darnell Mooney was held off the stat sheet and is only a what-the-heck flex for Week 16.
- Drake London at least scored and wasn't a bust. He should remain in Week 16 lineups even if Cousins starts.
- Sincere McCormick left with an ankle injury, but the Raiders running game wasn't doing much anyway. Ameer Abdullah got a ton of targets from a very underwhelming Desmond Ridder and qualifies as a PPR desperation play at running back that could hit in Week 16 against the Jaguars.
- Jakobi Meyers put up adequate PPR numbers and should be a WR3/Flex consideration in Week 16, even if Ridder is still the starter.
- Brock Bowers had a floor game, and Michael Mayer was a non-factor. Bowers should remain in Week 16 lineups even if Ridder starts, but his outlook gets a lot brighter if Aidan O'Connell can play.
