How It Works
Underdog Pick'em is a fun twist on daily fantasy games where you predict whether a player will go higher or lower than their projected stats across categories like touchdowns, yards, or fantasy points. To play, simply pick at least two props from two different teams. You can choose player stats like touchdowns, rushing yards, or even fantasy points and predict whether they will go higher or lower than the projected numbers.
Payouts
Underdog Fantasy offers a payout structure that rewards you based on the number of correct selections:
- Two picks: 3x your entry
- Three picks: 6x your entry
- Four picks: 10x your entry
- Five picks: 20x your entry
This article highlights a few of my favorite player props for the Divisional Round. We are plus one unit in the playoffs so far, hitting on a Gus Edwards-Nico Collins Pick Em but missing on the two others.
Commanders-Lions Hot Hands (3X)
The Commanders-Lions game features a sky-high total of 55.5 points, setting the stage for a potential shootout. Jahmyr Gibbs has been red-hot as a receiver, averaging nearly 50 receiving yards per game over his last five outings. He also draws the most favorable matchup among Detroit's top pass catchers. On the other side, Jayden Daniels has shown he can post big passing numbers when the game script demands it. With Detroit's massive implied team total of 32.5 points, this matchup should call for another strong outing from Daniels through the air.
Jayden Daniels Higher than 236.5 Passing Yards
- Daniels has surpassed 236.5 passing yards in eight of his 16 full games this season, including a 268-yard performance last week.
- In four of the five games where Washington’s opponent scored 30+ points, Daniels threw for over 250 yards. With Detroit boasting an implied team total of 32.5, a high-scoring game increases the likelihood of a big passing day for Daniels.
- Three of Detroit’s last four opponents have thrown for 330+ yards against their defense. Recent examples include Josh Allen (362 yards in Week 15), Caleb Williams (334 yards in Week 16), and the combination of Brock Purdy and Joshua Dobbs (412 yards in Week 17).
- Daniels has been especially effective in hurry-up situations and when the Commanders are trailing.
“They have played more no huddle snaps and they've put (Jayden) Daniels in empty formations far more than any team in the league.”@GregCosell with an interesting note about the Commanders offense: pic.twitter.com/3rVeAS43UL

Jahmyr Gibbs Higher than 24.5 Receiving Yards
- Gibbs has recorded at least 30 receiving yards in five consecutive games.
- Since Week 14, he has averaged 4.8 catches for 47 yards on 5.4 targets per game, showcasing consistent involvement in the passing attack.
- With Mikey Sainristil likely creating challenges for Amon-Ra St. Brown in the slot and Marshon Lattimore providing tough coverage on Jameson Williams outside, the Lions may lean heavily on Gibbs in the passing game.
Rams-Eagles Spread it Around (6X)
Snow and frigid weather are expected in Philadelphia, which may limit passing totals in this game. However, both teams are likely to spread the ball around rather than heavily targeting their top receiving options. I like the Eagles' third and fourth passing game options to exceed their modest receiving props. Meanwhile, with Puka Nacua likely drawing extra defensive attention, Matthew Stafford may be forced to lean on his secondary targets.
Jahan Dotson Higher than 2.5 Receiving Yards
- Dotson has exceeded 2.5 receiving yards in 12 of 18 games this season (67%).
- He played 57% of the snaps in the first-round matchup, and in games where he’s played at least half the snaps, he’s topped this mark in 7 of 9 outings. He’s expected to see similar playing time in the divisional round.
- The Rams have excelled at limiting opposing WR1s, including holding Justin Jefferson to 58 yards last week. However, WR3s have found success: Jalen Nailor had 33 yards last week, Tyler Lockett posted 28 yards in Week 18, and Michael Wilson, Zay Jones, and Greg Dortch each topped 18 receiving yards in Week 17, and Allen Lazard had 20 yards in Week 16.
- Confidence is important. Dotson had a huge Week 18 with the Eagles resting their stars and it carried over into the playoffs with Dotson making a huge catch to get Philadelphia off to a hot start last week.

Dallas Goedert Higher than 36.5 Receiving Yards
- Goedert has recorded at least 47 receiving yards in both games since returning from injury.
- The Rams have struggled against tight ends recently, allowing at least 59 receiving yards to the last five starting TEs they’ve faced.
- Recent examples include T.J. Hockenson, who led the Vikings in receiving yards last week, Noah Fant, who paced the Seahawks in Week 18, and Trey McBride, who led Arizona in Week 17.
Puka Nacua Lower than 86.5 Receiving Yards
- While Nacua has been excellent since returning from injury in Week 8, he was limited to just 44 receiving yards last week against the Vikings.
- Snow and frigid conditions in Philadelphia could further suppress his production this weekend.
- The Eagles have not allowed more than 70 receiving yards to any wide receiver since Week 14.
Ravens-Bills Stars (3X)
James Cook and Mark Andrews should be central to their respective offenses in a game with sneaky shootout potential. While both defenses are solid, this matchup sets up as one where the old adage, "good offense beats good defense," should hold true. Expect plenty of opportunities for both playmakers to put up yardage and exceed surprisingly low props.
James Cook Higher than 52.5 Rushing Yards
- Cook rushed for 70+ yards in 9 of 17 games this season, including a season-high 120 yards on 23 carries last week against Denver.
- During the regular season, Buffalo limited Cook to 12.9 carries per game, likely to keep him fresh for the playoffs. His increased workload in the first round suggests he’ll continue to be a focal point.
All this talk about Derrick Henry..

Mark Andrews Higher than 38.5 Receiving Yards
- Andrews has recorded 44+ receiving yards in five of his last nine games.
- With Zay Flowers likely sidelined, Andrews is poised to take on an expanded role in the Ravens’ passing game.
- This game has sneaky shootout potential, even with the threat of nasty weather, given the talent on both offenses.
