Staffers with Good Vibes

  • Phil Alexander: Caleb Williams is not your average rookie quarterback, and the Bears have arguably surrounded him with three WR1s.
  • Ryan Weisse: It's not all that often you get to see the highest-rated rookie quarterback with an all-star receiving corps. How can you not be excited to see what happens in Chicago?
  • Corey Spala: New coaching staff and a top-tier quarterback prospect look to change Chicago's franchise around. Paired with the influx of offensive talent will make this an intriguing offense in 2024.
  • Justin Howe: This may be the biggest single-season swing in offensive talent in recent memory. The top QB prospect in several years has been given multiple WR1s. If he's blocked for, they'll explode through the gates.
  • Bob Harris: After the Bears selected Caleb Williams as the first overall pick in April's draft, NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah suggested that the quarterback has a "franchise-altering upside." Even if it doesn't manifest this year, Chicago is heading in a better direction.
  • Jeff Bell: Caleb Williams is the latest to hold the generational quarterback crown, and he steps into one of the most talented situations a number one overall pick has ever seen.

Staffers with Neutral Vibes

  • Jason Wood: Bears fans have reasons for excitement with the arrival of Caleb Williams, but the team will still be hard-pressed to win half its games and has a lame-duck head coach who must exceed expectations to stay in 2025.
  • Kyle Bellefeuil: There are plenty of good reasons for optimism with Caleb Williams and the weapons surrounding him in Chicago. However, I’m typically hesitant with rookie quarterbacks, so the shifter stays neutral for now.
  • Jeff Haseley: The NFC North is a loaded division, and they will have a rookie quarterback leading their team. While improvements are likely, growing pains are expected, and a playoff berth will be a tall order.
  • Julia Papworth: There is a palpable sense of excitement in Chicago with a brand new roster in town led by the Quarterback drafted to save us all, Caleb Williams, but it is unclear if it will all pan out.
  • Ben Cummins: Caleb Williams has a chance to hit the ground running as one of the most talented quarterback prospects ever surrounded by talent in an exciting offense.
  • Andy Hicks: The Bears paid a heavy price to draft Caleb Williams and are surrounding him with quality weapons. That's the good news. For fantasy managers in 2024, the bad news is he has a lot to learn, and Chicago has a poor track record at the position.

Staffers with Bad Vibes

  • None.
