STAT CREW GRADES
This tab keeps track of tendencies for each stat crew. Each home stadium typically has their own group of stat keepers that are responsible for assigning tackle details (solo vs solo/assist vs assist/assist) on each play. The table at the top keeps track of Tackles vs Opportunity and compares total tackles awarded (solos plus assists) divided by tackle opportunities (rush attempts plus pass completions plus sacks). This gives you an idea of which crews tend to be more generous or less generous in comparison to everybody else.
Home STADIUMS with MOST GENEROUS stat crews this week include:
- LA Rams (vs Las Vegas) – 1.329 tackles/opp
- Atlanta (vs Seattle) - 1.322 tackles/opp
- Cleveland (vs Cincinnati) - 1.291 tackles/opp
- Pittsburgh (vs NY Jets) - 1.257 tackles/opp
- Indianapolis (vs Miami) - 1.252 tackles/opp
Home STADIUMS with LEAST GENEROUS stat crews this week include:
- Minnesota (vs Detroit) - 1.176 tackles/opp
- Jacksonville (vs New England) - 1.180 tackles/opp
- Tampa Bay (vs Baltimore) - 1.183 tackles/opp
- New Orleans (vs Denver) - 1.183 tackles/opp
- San Francisco (vs Kansas City) - 1.197 tackles/opp
Some leagues may place a premium on SOLO TACKLES and award more points for them than two assisted tackles. In that case, you’d want to focus on matchups played in STADIUMS that award a high percentage of solo tackles. This week, that would include:
- Jacksonville (vs New England) – 82.5% solos
- Washington (vs Carolina) - 82.3% solos
- Pittsburgh (vs NY Jets) - 80.7% solos
- Green Bay (vs Houston) - 80.3% solos
- Atlanta (vs Seattle) - 80.2% solos
In other cases, you may not want to differentiate between a solo or an assist and want to just focus on total tackles. STADIUMS this week that tend to award the highest percentage of ASSISTS per opportunity are:
- LA Rams (vs Las Vegas) - 63.3% assists
- Atlanta (vs Seattle) - 52.0% assists
- Cleveland (vs Cincinnati) - 51.0% assists
- Arizona (vs LA Chargers) - 49.7% assists
