Dynasty Sleepers examines an array of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs you should target. Depending on the makeup of your leagues, these players could be trade targets or solid grab-and-stash types who might be found on the waiver wire.
Dynasty Sleepers: LB Swayze Bozeman and Cam Jones, Kansas City
Aside from Nick Bolton and Drue Tranquill, can anyone name linebackers of value on the Chiefs? Leo Chenel is there, but he's a glue guy who doesn't really offer fantasy value. Swayze Bozeman (gotta love that name) and Cam Jones are there but have gotten no run this season until last week. With the Chiefs reportedly resting bigger names this coming weekend, we may get a glimpse of what these guys can do. If they're impressive, they may be worthy of rostering in larger formats.
Dynasty Sleeper: LB David Long Jr, Tennessee
The Titans have rotated a metric ton's worth of linebackers through their lineup over the past couple of months. Long has talent, yet somehow got lost in the shuffle. At 28, he's not a spring chicken, but he's the kind of linebacker who could provide a solid floor in terms of tackles if he landed on a different squad in 2025. You can likely get him for free and hold on your roster until declaration time in case he lands somewhere he could start.
Dynasty Sleeper: LB Jacob Hummel, LA Rams
The Rams squeezed what they could out of Christian Rozeboom and Omar Speights came on well at the end of the season, but do you think they're married to either guy coming into 2025? They might be, but if you're in a larger league, why not add a guy like Hummel, who may have a chance to start next season if he impresses over the summer?
Dynasty Sleeper: DL K'Lavon Chaisson, Las Vegas
We touched on Chaisson a few weeks back. Yes, he could be competing with Malcolm Koonce for playing time in 2025 and beyond, but it bears mentioning that Chaisson wrapped up the season on a hot streak. He had four sacks, two pass breakups, and a total of 17 tackles in the last five games of the season. If he gets the starting nod across from Maxx Crosby, he will certainly come into the 2025 season as a sleeper.

Dynasty Sleeper: DL Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Kansas City
You can just see it from the tape that this guy is a beast. He's only 22 and has plenty of room to grow as an edge defender. No, George Karlaftis isn't going anywhere and will be the main guy in the Chiefs' pass rush rotation, but look for Anudike-Uzomah to get a lot more run in 2025. If you're in a league that separates the two DL spots, he should be rostered, especially since you can still stash him on your taxi squad.
Dynasty Sleeper: DL Tommy Togiai, Houston
Houston's line is just nasty. So many playmakers. So when a guy like Togiagi appears on free agent lists when he offers tackles, sacks, and pass breakups, it catches my eye. In leagues that separate tackles from ends, Togiai should be on your radar coming into the 2025 season as a guy who can really fill up the box score if given the majority of snaps alongside all those playmakers.
Dynasty Sleeper: DB Javon Bullard, Green Bay
The Packers couldn't quite figure out the recipe for their defensive backfield, but it was obvious that when Bullard was given starter-level snaps, he came through. He's a volume tackler who won't do much else but offers a fairly safe floor because of said tackles. He's 22 and has the Georgia pedigree, so expect big things from Bullard in 2025, especially if named a full-time starter.
Dynasty Sleeper: DB Chuck Clark, NY Jets
Not the sexiest name out there, but if you need a "Steady Eddie" type, Clark likely fits the bill. He will enter the 2025 season as a starter for the Jets (barring a big name landing there) and fills the box score with not just tackles but big plays to boot. He battled some mid-season injuries, but once he came back and got his feet back under him, he was a double-digit fantasy scorer for the final month of the season. Simple but effective.
Dynasty Sleeper: DB Dru Phillips, NY Giants
The Giants rotated a ton of different corners around their defensive backfield, seemingly all season. One constant was the rookie Phillips; when he got significant playing time, he was a volume tackler from the corner spot. He even got himself a sack, showing some diversity in his play. He was a four-solo guy pretty much every week that he got regular playing time. With the Giants as a whole in flux, especially their defense, look for Phillips to get a starting role in 2025, and his fantasy value would rise.
