IDP streaming is essential for staying competitive in your leagues. Streaming involves analyzing weekly matchups and playing different players with the best potential outcomes each week. This edition will examine the top IDP streaming IDL and EDGE options.

Week 16 saw some great matchups to stream, yet virtually all calls were misses. The only one from the article who performed even slightly was B.J. Hill, who posted four total tackles. This reinforces that when you are in the playoffs, start your studs. I understand that you may be forced to stream, which is what this article is for. Here are the top Week 17 IDP streaming options.

IDP Streaming Option: IDL Khalen Saunders, New Orleans Saints

Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders - Ranked 11th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings

Saunders has been off fantasy radars for most of the season, though he has quietly turned it up recently with high tackle-output games. He has racked up 14 tackles, a sack, and two passes defended over his last three games. Generally, we look for the splash play IDL, but during championship week, it is safe to try accumulating points with high-floor players.

The Saints take on the Raiders in Week 17. The Raiders running game is filled with runners whose feet are stuck in the mud. They could not avoid a tackle if it meant saving their family from death. Because of this, I expect Saunders to continue his high-tackle total, making him a solid IDP streaming option for Week 17.

IDP Streaming Option: IDL, DaVon Hamilton, Jacksonville Jaguars

Matchup: Tennessee Titans - Ranked 26th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings

Hamilton is here for the same reason as Saunders: to rack up tackles. It is difficult, weekly, to predict which interior defensive linemen will make big plays with very few defensive linemen who can rack up sacks. Because of this unpredictability, this article will focus on accruing easy points with our IDLS. Since Week 7, Hamilton has had less than five tackles just three times and never less than three.

He faces the Titans in Week 17. The Titans should not be fighting from behind as much in this outing, which means that they can focus more on getting their running game moving. This bodes well for Hamilton's potential output. It is not exciting, but Hamilton is an intriguing IDP streaming option for Week 17.

IDP Streaming Option: Edge, Derick Hall, Seattle Seahawks

Matchup: Chicago Bears - Ranked 29th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings

After a rookie season where Hall did not record a single sack, he has come to life in 2024. He has posted 34 tackles, seven sacks, one pass defended, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery, which he has returned for a touchdown. Hall has more than tripled his pressures as a rookie (11), with 40 this season.

He gets to match up against the Chicago Bears in Week 17. The Bears will likely be missing their offensive line's entire starting left side. Left tackle Braxton Jones is out for the season with an ankle injury, and left guard Teven Jenkins exited Week 16 early with a calf injury and is questionable. The Bears have already allowed the second most sacks in the season, with 60. Missing two starters on a rookie quarterback's blind side is a recipe for disaster. Hall is a top IDP streaming option for Week 17.

IDP Streaming Option: Edge Joey Bosa, Los Angeles Chargers

Matchup: New England Patriots - Ranked 30th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings

Bosa is by no means the player he once was and has a lengthy injury history, including earlier this season. Still, in the 11 games he has played fully in, he has recorded 21 tackles, five sacks, and two forced fumbles. Those are eye-popping Bosa numbers, but he has been heating up.

He has six tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble over his past three games.

The Chargers square off with the Patriots in Week 17, which have allowed 47 sacks on the season, the seventh most. The Chargers are fighting for playoff seeding now, meaning they have something to fight for. The veteran pass rusher will be at his best and is an excellent IDP streaming option for Week 17.

Final Thoughts

For most, this is the championship game. These are the best matchups that you can exploit for Week 17. The IDLs are here to rack up tackles. It is a great position to get some guaranteed tackles. It is against my general mantra, but every point is huge in the finals. Bosa and Hall have been hot and have terrific matchups this week. Thank you again for reading, and good luck.
